Cool spot near downtown Louisville. Nice indoor ambience for a date or hanging w/ friends and a huge outdoor patio, perfect for grabbing drinks and a lil sun! Welcoming staff. Reasonably priced drinks... Pride month drink specials low as $5, and allows for outside food to be brought in. Trouble has two non-conforming gender-friendly restrooms with sinks and mirrors just outside the restrooms... offering free emergency contraceptive. Definitely on my list of places to hang this summer.1 Star deduction for only having one type of silver tequila.
Trouble Bar is pure magic. They've taken all the work out of learning and tasting whiskey and curated beautiful flights for your enjoyment. This woman-owned business has created a safe and welcoming space that all are welcome in to drink, be merry and share in stories and laughter. They walked us through the flight offerings and helped us decide on our journey through them. They offered other single pour suggestions as compliments or other highlights in between. The team is welcoming, lovely and a pleasure to spend time with.Walking the aisles of a liquor store you often find bottles that looks nice but you have no idea how they really taste until you've purchased. This gave us the chance to experience dozens of bottles for a fraction of the price. We found some new favorites which we sought and bought for the home bar.Truly, Trouble Bar is a gem to this city and other businesses should take note and learn from what they're doing.
Exceptional cocktails and tasting flights, best staff and an inviting, warm and inclusive environment. The owners of Trouble Bar are some of the best humans I have ever met. This is my go to place every time I am in Louisville and a recommendation I send to friends who visit. Go visit now and fall in love with this place like I did!
It’s wild that the cocktails - although exceptional - aren’t even the best thing about this bar. It’s the people. The women who own it. The women behind the bar (and Justin and Ben too!). The entire community that feels comfortable being their most authentic selves here. It’s a place with good energy and I’ve never miss opportunity to bring someone to Trouble for the first time. They’ll surely be back. And here’s a hot tip: make sure you order a Storyteller ;)
This bar is one of our favorites in town. They have a rotating cocktail menu with many interesting mixers and flavors. They are also incredibly queer friendly so I always feel safe and welcome here. We love this bar so much we even got our engagement photos taken here. They were gracious enough to open for us before customers where there. Love love love them!
Trouble Bar is so much more than a fantastic drink. They support local farmers for their syrups and such, they are always giving of their time, skills, location, and products to help other businesses and non-profits in town. This independent business makes our city and people better. We are lucky to have them here. They truly go above and beyond the drink. Go support them.
This place is a gem for sobers like myself. Welcoming, kind, attentive, and an amazing nonalcoholic menu. Even as a nondrinker, I am in awe of the knowledge exhibited by the staff about their product. And the consistency of attention to detail! Nothing ever overlooked. It is obvious that the people who run this establishment care deeply about bourbon, about their customers, about their staff, and about their neighborhood. What more can you ask for?
They have great selection of bourbon. Bar has very cozy, warm and friendly atmosphere. All the staff is attentive and eager to help. Different vibe and chill place to hangout.
Great bourbon selection. friendly knowledgeable bartender that is passionate about what he does. Late happy hour. Exposed brick and comfy chairs. What more could you ask for
I enjoyed this bar a lot. It is quite small but plenty of seating. There were so many choices of drinks. I ordered one but unfortunately I cannot remember the name. I enjoyed this drink a lot. I would love to come back and do the flight.
