Cool little spot with great burgers. They also make a great margarita for $5 on Wednesdays. The burgers were incredible.
It took a while to get our orders in. A couple of tables that came in after us had their food before we even had the chance to order. We finally flagged down a server and managed to get our order in.We ordered the mushroom planks, a double Cheeseburger, a regular Cheeseburger, 2 orders of fries, 2 strawberry daiquiris, and a cup of fry sauce.The mushroom planks were alright. Nothing amazing, but pretty decent. As for the burgers, I'm not really a huge smash burger style fan, but these things really hit the spot. Great flavor, and awesome toppings. Best smash burger I've ever had. The fries were great too. Super crispy, while also being soft on the inside. They taste much better than they look, and pair very well with the fry sauce.The daiquiris were really nice and strong, if a bit expensive.I do wish they had a bit more in terms of side options. It's basically just fries, or soup.Outside of the wait to order, the only other big downside was not having ice in the water. It was a bit warm in the building, so ice would have been welcomed. Ice was certainly in the daiquiris, so I'm not sure why it was absent in the water.
Visited Toasty's for dinner and unfortunately they were running out of menu items (hot dogs, etc). Still had a chance to try out appetizers which were definitely good, but would have liked to see draft beer options. Would likely come back again and try to snag an indoor spot.
Make it a double.
Great food, wow! Love the patio. Awesome inside Diner bar feel. The burgers and dawgs are excellent. Must try the mushroom planks and breaded fries.
Stopped by for a quick bite and was blown away by the quality of the food. Never had a bacon melt on marbled rye before - loved it. Fries are absolute gems, too. Can't wait to go back.
I was there today for the first time and they were out of several in house cocktails. The server explained that it was due to approaching the end of that menus season. The burger was good and the fries are as tasty as they look. There are several sauces to choose from to dip. It was busy when I arrived, so you might want to get there early or expect a wait.
Always the best food, nicest staff, and best cocktails! I always get the chili cheese fries and a smashburger - it’s seriously my favorite burger in all of Louisville!
Thank God I don't live closer to Toasty's, or I'd be here every day. Amazing food and great service in a cool, laid back atmosphere. The burger is phenomenal - smash burger style with delicate beef lacing - and the fries are something special as well. I will definitely be back soon!
The staff seemed to care less about waiting on the customers. The attitude they gave off was that they would rather be almost anywhere else. The bar’s website isn’t maintained, according to the bartender at least. The beers listed online may or may not be on tap but, who cares. In 2022, no one makes a decision about going somewhere based on an establishment’s website after all. The menu choices have gone from several very good options to lots of average pub food. Many hundreds of better places to eat and drink in Louisville.
