Service and food was great.
Waiter never checked on us. Had empty glasses the entire meal. . No silverware. I had to go get my own. Dirty plates on the table until after we paid. Person who brought food dropped off and ran. We then had to go get silverware. We were done with meal when the server finally checked on us. Patio area was dirty. Second bad meal in a row.
Only criticism is the Bartender could have been more friendly

They were in a great location. Very friendly waiter. But had industrial fans going right next to table which killed the evening. Food was just okay meatloaf burger had good flavor but the pretzel bun was over toasted and dry. Fish and chips were excellent. Cole slaw was a bit bitter. Overall would go againâ¦
This is one of our favorite places to go! We happened on 1/2 price bottles of wine Wednesday which was a surprise and they were prepared to cork it for us. The only issue was weâre sitting right next to the floor vent for the air conditioning. I didnât ask to move but instead just put my bag of part of it so it didnât blow directly on me. And I always bring a sweater!
The Anchor is my favorite local restaurant. I love meeting friends there and enjoying foods and drinks. I especially love the Brussels sprouts salad!
We enjoyed eating at The Village Anchor after hiking the Anchorage Trail.
Great as always! And the cost of the meals is very reasonable
