My wife and I stayed at the Galt House for my birthday trip to Louisville, KY to tour some of the distilleries there. Very nice hotel. We got a little confused on arrival because there are two towers with parking but we quickly got it sorted out at the East tower check in desk. The third floor room was nice and spacious and we even had a balcony (not private - it ran the length of the tower) where we could step outside and see the river. There are restaurants on site and we sampled almost all of them. Very good. Special shout-out to Rob (Bob?) at the terrace lounge/bar on Thursday. Good drinks and conversations with him. He was dealing faulty equipment but still our time there was enjoyable.

Great vibe and atmosphere. Ideal for impromptu gatherings.

This is a great place in the midst of the hotel for a large group meetup.

All of the staff was very pleasant, and treated me as if I were coming to their home. My only complaint with my 5 day stay is the cost. $22 for breakfast, $28 for parking. The hotel was very clean, and the remodel is very up to date.

I ordered some items from Amazon to be delivered to the hotel. Amazon told me it had been delviered to the front desk. When I went to the front desk, I was sent to the UPS store on the 2nd floor. I was charged a $10.00 receiving fee. I have stayed in many hotels and this is the first time I have had reception tell me they do not accept packages! Mind you, they did not have a UPS store in the building. But I still think it is ridiculous to be charged a $10 receiving fee.

We decided to get a few drinks before going up to our room. Plenty of options to wet your whistle, plenty of seating to choice from, and a menu to order a little bit of food if need be. We even took beer back to our room. I would highly recommend getting a drink!

Nice, large, enclosed breezeway that connects the West and East Towers of the Galt House Hotel. The bar itself tends to get busy in the evenings. Expect a long wait for drinks. The acoustics are horrible and it is incredibly loud when the bar is busy.

Absolute hands down the worst service I’ve ever had in a bar. Thirty minutes of sitting at a bar without a drink. The manager is an absolute joke. By no means does this bar know how to manage 15 people max. The servers never asked if we needed another drink and we had to chase them down to cash out from OUR ONE DRINK. Two nights in a row and horrrrrrible service!!!!! I highly recommend no visiting this pace and venturing outside of the hotel.

It was good but a little pricey $22.00 per person. Very nice restaurant with a terrace to set on. All around very good.

I'm young and have several heart diseases. During dinner I needed to visit the men's room. When walking back into the restaurant I got short of breath and needed to sit down asap but there was nothing close by. The manger, Jason and hostess Roeisha took one look at me and knew something was wrong, both of them rushed over to help. If it wasn't for them, I would have really gotten hurt. They also were so friendly and checked on me several times but knew I was ok. They are very special people.
