My favorite deli in Louisville. Usually the owner will mix up something great daily. I do the pick 2. Love their soups. If I lived in this part of town I’d come more often.
Best. Sandwich. Ever!Had the duo with the block club & vinegar slaw. The club had plenty of delicious meat, the lettuce was shredded & bacon was nice & crispy. Vinegar slaw was delicious- tangy & a bit of a spicy kick. Bonus- folks there were so friendly!
Delicious food, friendly service, and great prices! The Block delivered charcuterie skewers for our two day wedding celebration and they were a hit! The fruit skewers were fresh, the cheese skewers had unique cheeses you don’t get everyday, and the caprese skewers were all the rage (I’m craving one right now). Love the chef’s hot soups on a cold day as you can taste his love for regional dishes in his offerings.
Small store with GREAT FOOD!!I can't say enough about the friendly staff and sandwiches that are second to none in the Louisville area. Definitely a local Favorite ???
VERY good sandwiches and soups. Their Muffaletta is sublime. Plenary of other sandwiches. I want to adopt their service staff as children. Just VERY good.
They put the "deli" in delicious. Heaping portions of meat on the sandwiches and the service was fast and friendly.
Best sandwiches in town (stacked high) and they make their own sides and some of the toppings. My go-to lunch spot whenever I can get there. Pro tip: get your home deli meat from them since it's sliced-to-order Boar's Head and actually cheaper than the pre-packaged stuff at Kroger.

Amazing soup!!!! This is my personal favorite favorite favorite place for soup. I highly recommend the guisado. Their Tuscan chicken soup and cabbage roll soup are both delicious as well.
