Expensive!!! But, for a good family meal, to share a memory or two....or for just that couple who've had a hard week at work and might want to enjoy a meal cooked by someone else for a change....absotively thee best place!!! Whoa!!!?? After checking the receipt again, I've seen they automatically take out a tip whether you want to or not....fair?...unfair???
Very nice staff. I was grateful that they were open late. As usual, when at a seafood restaurant, I over ordered and I'm happy with the quality of what I got. Now I did notice that they seem to have gone up quite a bit lately. More than most others. I don't mind businesses going up, just do not lower the quality and quantity! However, they are already charging twice the market price, and even putting it, hand written, in the menus. Everyone is almost always connected now. We can and do look things up, so you might want to remove that section from the menu.
My family and I were there Saturday evening. It was incredibly busy! The food was great we all loved the crab legs and the seafood bread is fantastic!The service was wonderful, Tarak and Stephanie did an amazing job with as many tables as they had and my Aunt had a fantastic birthday dinner.I highly recommend asking for them when you go in.
So we loved the Indiana location a few years ago with relatives we had one of my favorite meals and best service in a restaurant. Sadly this was the exact opposite. We got there at 5:30 pm on Monday. There were only 2 servers for the whole restaurant. They messed up the appetizer order. Slow food coming out. The food was lacking salt and bland. I get we ordered mild old bay but that didn't mean don't sale anything. We barely saw our server. To end the night I had to track down someone because it was 3o min and we hadn't seen our server and were ready to go. This was something we were looking forward to for anniversary. By the time we got out of there it was 7:30pm. That 30 min was ridiculously long and almost made us late for the places we did try for dessert Sweet Treats which totally lived up to the reviews. Management could have stepped in and helped servers to manage once they knew they were that short or stopped by the tables to apologize. Next time we do boil we will be trying the one down the street or going back to 502 crab.
My mom, aunt, and cousin went here to eat today and had the pleasure of having Stephanie for a server. My mom said she was amazing. One of the most important things to me is when I hear of or find a place with an exceptional employee I brag. Go ask for Stephanie! Also the food is really really good. My mom LOVES the seafood bread! Yum!
The food was okay—The breading on the catfish was extremely thick, the hush puppies were very salty and could have used some honey butter or something to offset that.Additionally, when we sat down the server came out with some cheese bread and put it on our table. Great! We asked for more bread and she brought that out as well. When we got the bill we saw that We had been charged for the cheese bread. I asked the server about this and she said only the first basket is free the second basket is charged because it’s a part of the appetizer menu. It is called the seafood bread.That’s all fine and good but the server did not explain this to us before hand. She should have told us before bringing the second basket that there would be a charge and not just put it on the bill hoping that we would not notice. We let it slide. But this is a terrible practice.
The food was amazing! The crab, shrimp, corn and potatoes were seasoned to perfection! Our server Tye was very attentive and courteous. He went above and beyond to make my birthday special. I will be visiting again soon.
We loved the atmosphere and feeling we were at a restaurant on the coast. The food was delicious and plentiful. The prices were reasonable and comparable to those of beachfront restaurants. The wait staff was friendly and and helpful (teaching us how to crack open the crabs!). We enjoyed our experience a lot.
