There's not much options for people who don't eat beef. They used to have chicken fingers but I haven't seen them on the menu lately. I really like the milkshakes though. I find myself in the drive-thru most of the time but it's a cool dining area.
Food was delicious. Best I’ve had from the location. The very long revamp was worth the wait! Kiosks are used in place of servers. Food came quick, fresh, warm, everything you could possibly ask for went right. Highly recommend!
Went inside, order off a computer. Ordered a coffee with my meal, paid for it. Order a shake which got half way thru my meal. Plus they then said we don't do coffee. Would you like a refund, of course yes! Why have on the menu if you don't have, plus you charged it for me! However the shakes are the best in the world!
I like Steak 'n Shake. However I was disappointed with my order. I ordered the garlic burger. It was too greasy, soggy, and salty. They put too much garlic salt on it we couldn't eat it. I had to repeat the order 3 times and it still wasn't correct.
New streamlined system where you order on a kiosk and seat yourself. It's wonderful, fast and efficient. So glad to have this new improved steak n shake back. Even with this new system the workers were still friendly and helpful. Highly recommend going inside and enjoying a bit of new and a bit of old.
What a disappointment. We used to love coming here.First time since the pandemic we walked in. No sign to tell you to seat yourself or that you have to use the kiosk to order. After a few minutes a girl came and explained what we need to do. After ordering at the kiosk and picking up our own food we ate our very disappointing food(soggy bread, skinny beef patties and not much flavor).We also had to clean our own table and all that for almost twice the price we used to pay. Hardly any human interaction which makes a restaurant.We will not come back here.
Food was EXCELLENT, service was EXCELLENT! Very attentive manager walking around engaging in conversation with customers. Really appreciated the experience at this location. Best I've ever been to. I'd rate higher if possible! Thank you!!
We have not had Steak and Shake for several years and when we saw that one near our house was open we tried it.We found the ordering very confusing. Nowhere did it say that all orders were to be entered on the kiosks. Even at McDonald's you could order on a kiosk but it was not necessary. We placed our order without problems.My wife missed the chicken sandwich. We just did not know the process for placing orders. We both got Frisco melts and neither of the sandwiches were cut; they always had been before. The few workers we saw were friendly.The bigger issue was that it didn't feel special anymore. I don't know what it was but it just felt like another burger joint where it never felt that way before.
Since the pandemic closed this place down there have been some changes. Some changes are really cool here and some are kind of odd. I really enjoy the fact that I can order on a digital menu. The Christian music really gives this place an odd feeling though.
My Frisco melt was soggy the bread wasn’t even toasted and one of the cheese cups was absolutely disgusting. I’m sad because I love Steak ‘n Shake but think I’ll be avoiding Steak ‘n Shake for awhile.
