I can't give you a bad enough of a review! I'm still angry ? at how lousy this place is! The food was garbage! It's probably good enough for your dog if you want to waste that much money! When asked about our order, the manager reacted as if we were irritating him,Wow! If I it were possible, I would give a -5stars!!!
Ordering at the kiosk was simple and fast, milk shakes came quickly followed by the food which was hot and fresh. Short staffed but the guys worked quickly and was communicating with each other. Even though drive thru was backed up it was quick and great service inside.
I ordered Cheese Fries and got normal fries. Tried calling multiple times and it always rings once and then drops the call. They also gave me diet coke instead of regular, and my burger buns were smashed.
I was very happy to see the place open again! I love the new design of ordering at kiosk and getting number, you can take a seat...Ordered the Nutella Milkshake...received it very quickly and in a chilled soda fountain glass! My garlic burger was on point and my fries came right after. Quick...and easy! A much smoother process!
Nothing like it used to be with service at the table and no charge for the fry seasoning and no charge for the pepper juice. Its quite the opposite now and not even worth going anymore. It has pretty much become overpriced fast food.
I want to give a shout out to Stephen. I’m assuming he may be a manger. But he made our night amazing at steak and shake. He was friendly and really interacted with my daughter and I. He stepped up quick when it came to fixing any issues we had with our food. Very sweet guy!!!!
It has been years since last visit to Steak 'n Shake. From what i recall, the menu was more versatile than it is now, yes i was still able to find something there. This time I took my very picky with food daughter there and she was extremely against anything stake, she got a beef hot dog and I got a melt....needless to say, she devoured her meal and ate half of my melt. I was glad she approved it and luckily i also had a cup of chili.Gladly this may be a place where she will try other items off the menu and perhaps will be more open to variety of foods on the go.It is now a self order and prepay which is great but i really miss having a hard copy of the menu and rather than stand by the counter my preference would be sitting at my table and make the choice.
Did not get complete order! Missing #2 combo meal except the drink. Asked for extra Frisco sauce and that was not added as well! No one can afford to eat out especially when paying for something they don’t get!!!! Call the number and it fails each call.
I wanted so badly to rank the restaurant a 5, But due to the fact that the doors were assumingly opened to the public, that four of us went inside to place orders using the Kiosk. A young lady walked out and Stated, "We're closed, that door should've been locked". "Sorry, we can't take y'all orders inside, we'll gladly refund you, but you'll have to use the drive thru"..We were headed back home to Illinois from visiting family. The burger I ordered was really good, but the fries were stale and warm.
One hour, we were in the drive thru for one solid hour with only 4 cars in front of us. Unfortunately we were blocked in and couldn't leave. After the ridiculous wait, they not only have me the wrong drink twice, but our fries were cold and soggy. I was so excited because I haven't been to steak n shake in a few years. I'll never come back to this one
