Service was slow, but the food was great. My daughter got shrimp fried rice and said it was the best she ever had. Son in law had curry chicken that I wish I would have gotten. Hope to go back before we leave town
I ordered as Thai Hot 5/5. The flavor was good but I could have fed it to a baby. No spice at all. I added Siracha but still not the heat that I wanted. Very disappointed.
Best Thai restaurant in Louisville. Food is so good I regularly go back which is pushing me further away from my goal of being a swimsuit model.
Except for quite a wait for our entrées, Simply Thai was excellent. Our Isaiah was very efficient and nice. We took home enough for lunch the next day, and was delicious warmed up, too!
You Simply can't go wrong choosing Simply Thai for a deliciously satisfying meal! The fried tofu was crispy on the outside and silky on the inside. Likewise, the stuffed banana pepper and Shrimp Pad Thai were very good. The highlight of the meal was the shrimp bomb, which had a spicy/sweet drizzle on it that was incredible, and a creamy Thai tea! Delicious!!
We were looking for vegetarian and vegan options and we found plenty here. Almost every dish could be made vegan! My favorite papaya salad was amazing. Spicy level 4 was perfect. Tables were cleaned thoroughly between guests. Waiters were wearing masks. We will be back.
The food was alright. Some of the vegetables tasted kind of weird, but we didn't get sick from it.The staff was friendly. The main issue was that half the staff weren't wearing masks. One of the hostesses was obviously sick, she wasn't wearing her mask properly and she kept coughing into her hands then dealing with customers. The service was super slow, which would be fine if the food was better than okay and I didn't feel like I needed to get a Covid test after waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes.I highly recommend the pad see iew.
The food here is absolutely amazing but the service has fallen to a level that isn't appropriate. Each time I want simply Thai I have to choose between bad service and good food or to travel out to Middletown for perfect food and service. I don't think I should have to weigh things in that way.
The food was good. I would say that the flavors lean more towards Americanized than true Thai flavors. To my palate, everything tastes sweet versus the bright flavors that I normally associate with Thai food. That’s not to say that the food here is bad, it’s just not “authentic”. I had the beef salad which is not Yum Nuer. Theirs was sautéed in oyster sauce and soy vs fish sauce and lime tossed with the toasted rice. The chicken salad was good. The fried tofu was crunchy and bland. The dipping sauce much too sweet and sticky.I’d probably pass on this restaurant given a choice but was passing through and though I’d try it.
This place is sooo good. Not sure what was going in with the service tonight. Not good at all, but It doesn't usually happen. So I will be back.
