The food was great but their consideration of my two year old blew me away. When they brought out soup for our table, the waitress brought out a small cup of ice to cool off her soup. She also brought out a set of modified chopsticks for her (and graciously a second when she accidentally broke the first). The chef served everyone our protein, leaving my daughter’s for last so he could cut it into smaller pieces for her. I didn’t ask for any of these accommodations but as a parent it can often feel like your child is a nuisance at a restaurant and they could not have made us feel anymore the opposite.

The server did a great job with ordering, bringing the food, drink refills & checking our party out. The hibachi chef did prepare a wonderful meal ?!!

This place is well worth the #1 starVery dirty restaurantI will keep this short as pictures are worth a thousand wordsThey rush you out after waiting over an hour for your food the chef came out and did a total of 20 seconds worth of tricks and that was it oh did I mention it was DIRTY they keep the lights off to cover it up I am surprised that it’s not shut down There is Grease dripping from everywhere all over the trim work on the wall vents dripping on the grill hanging from the lights I do t know how long this place has been open but that was the last time it was cleaned

Definitely not the best Shogun we have been to. Sauce on the salad was literally watered down half and half it was just dripping everywhere off our lettuce. Steak was tough. Prices were double what they are at other locations. Had to ask several times for Yum sauce til they finally got it. Portions were half what we typically get. Vegetables were not done. 2 stars for the chefs show. Really wish I could post pics. We will travel to Elizabethtown from here on out.

This place is amazing such wonderful stuff, so nice and welcoming the restaurant was very clean the kids thought the bridge across the ponds was awesome with the fish and the coins like a wishing well so cute! After we was seated our Chef came in dimmed the lights started cooking oh my goodness the smell of the food was delicious in its self! The portions are very Fulfilling pictures are attached. I would definitely recommend that you check this place out if you haven't already.

Went for birthday dinner.. NEVER AGAIN!!!! Terrible service waitress was so slow confuse on order! She only came to table twice had to ask another person for refills. Family member was allergic to carrots and was informed NO CARROTS well just say here come salad with Carrots!!!!! Little portions for high prices they charge then have the nerve to charge 18% additional for each person.. Rip offs food not even good! NASTY No Star!

Food was good. Normal hibachi fare. But there was a long wait. Waited 20 minutes past our reservation time, then it took almost another hour at the table before the chef arrived. Seems like they're understaffed right now. It was during peak hours on a Sunday though

The salad itself was fresh, but the sauce was too watery. The soup did not have a strong taste. The hibachi dishes were good.

I enjoyed my time there, but I’m surprised by some of their policies. All seats and hibachi grills were open. There was no distance between multiple groups and they will only do hibachi, none of the other tables were open and you couldn’t order off the left side of the menu.

A one is generous. I don't live in Louisville but we have a Shogun restaurant in Glasgow, Ky that is amazing so I figured it's Shogun, it'll be great!! Wrong...after making reservations for 5:30 we were finally seated a little after 6 only to sit and wait an additional 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge our table. Our drink and supper order was taken at the same time. After another 8 minutes we get our drinks. We were seated with plastic forks in our napkins. I'm sorry but for the cost of a single plate, I will not eat with plastic forks. We asked 3 times for metal forks. Our food was flavorless, teriyaki chicken was liquidy, steak was bland. Food was served by basically throwing it on the plate, splashing liquid everywhere. The grill was never cleaned in between food, chicken and seafood were touching while raw and cooked side by side with all the other food. Spatula was never wiped off between meats/raw chicken. Had to ask 3 times for yum yum sauce. Then we were overcharged for the food, waitress wanted to argue that a 10 year old child's plate was the same price as an adult. Overall, I would be ashamed of that establishment if I were Shogun management. Thank God, I have an awesome Shogun at home. Really disappointed!!
