great presentation, great tasting sushi and sashimi, great service and clean place. will definitely come again next time in town

The BEST sushi in Louisville. Been coming here since high school. The tj roll is my absolute favorite, but I don’t think there are any bad options to choose from. The house salad and garlic edamame are also a must to start your meal with.

The food here was great for my first time trying sushi. the fried rice and yum yum sauce are the best I have had. I'm taking a star away for the waiter taking forever to check back on an issue we had.

Delicious sushi and so many options! Food came out *extremely* fast and service was beyond friendly. Wonderful time. I had gotten the Big Mouth and No Name. :)

Very good lychee martinis. The basic rolls were a little pricey for what they offered.

I've been to sushi/hibachi restaurants all over the country and this is the best. The attention to detail, the extremely creative and unique flavor combinations, it's all the best. From the edaname to the most expensive sushi roll

The sushi & sashimi were phenomenal...however the service could use a bit of work. We had to ask for a menu after sitting at a table for what seems like an exorbitant amount of time & our waitress was never around to refill our drinks nor asked if we needed anything until we got done eating. It cost $80 for the 2 of us and the quality of the food we ate definitely reflected that. I'd just wished that the service we've received had done so too.

I’ve only been one time before tonight, and I was so disappointed for a few reasons. One, no where on their website does it say that they are not cooking at the tables. I understand the pandemic, short staffed, what ever. But it’s been nearly two years, it’s not unreasonable to expect the website to be updated letting people know you are still not cooking at the tables, and that you have no idea when you will get started again. As for the food, salad was incredible, flavor was great but it was also the only cold item that I ordered therefore the only thing I really enjoyed. It was SO cold in the restaurant that within 5 minutes of receiving my entree, my vegetables were inedible because they were ice cold. Nothing stayed hot long enough to enjoy the dinner. And number three, IF you are not having to pay for your chefs at each table and can’t turn the heat up because, well, the grills were off, then I think it’s reasonable to expect a price drop from pre pandemic prices. I definitely did not get what I paid for tonight. Do better Sapporo, do better.

I did not dine inside the restaurant as I just called in an order but the place was almost completely filled as I waited inside and the restaurant had just opened for the night! I ordered the Hurricane roll, chicken katsu, and the Crunch Munch roll (as recommended by the woman who took my call). The chicken katsu was amazing and the portion was much bigger than I was anticipating. Well worth the money. Both sushi rolls were delicious although the Crunch Munch was not exactly what I was expecting. The Hurricane roll was by far my favorite. At first I thought it was a bit pricey but considering the amount of food, the quality, and the taste, it was well worth it. Will be trying again next time I'm in town!

My current jam is the Moya Moya w/jalapeño, but I don’t stay locked-down for long. - **Twist: order a side of truffle oil with your sashimi for a flavorful kick without the sodium.**
