The sushi is just amazing here. I recommend the Texas and the Big Mouth were great. The Yum Yum was good as well. The Seafood roll was decent as well.
We enjoyed the dinner at a seated table. We ordered edamame for an appetizer. It came piping hot and lightly salted-delicious. 2 of us ordered the Hibachi plates. The filet mignon cooked medium Hibachi was the winner. we opted for extra vegetables instead of rice. The other person at our table ordered the Pad Thai. It was quick spicy and had a lot of sauce. It was good just not my favorite. For dessert we had the Mango and the Strawberry mochi ice cream. It was the perfect palate cleanser. Yum. Our server was very good. She was attentive til the very end even as they got very busy. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars was the back area towards the restrooms needs some attention. Cleaning and dressing up-updating. Not as inviting as the dining area.
Food is really good! Sushi is fantastic and large enough to be a complete meal by itself!!Why the 2- star review?We receive the bill and I thought it seemed a bit high, quickly glanced at the line items and they had our orders correct. I assumed my math was goofy. They 'kindly' provide you with tip options right on your receipt, 15, 20 and 25% so you don't have to do any math- just select the percentage and go!I select 20% and chuckle at the expectation of tip- I have mixed feelings about the expectation of a tip, but that's another conversation.We get home and the wife hands me the receipt and I notice all the way at the bottom, below the line items is an automatic "gratuity". Although the percentage of the gratuity isn't listed, it was 20%.So wait! I'm automatically charged a 20% gratuity and then expected to pay a tip on top of that? Over 40% of our bill was gratuity and tip.That is a deceitful way to raise your food prices!I will miss the Sushi rolls... never again.
The food was okay the manager/barmaid was so rude she didn’t know how to make cocktails and when you tried to explain to her she got rude the waiter and waitress were to Afraid to tell her just in case they got fired never again will I bust this place because of the barmaid/manager
I tell you what, I have never had this much of an amazing meal in my life. Amazing service despite being crowded. The food was too good to be true. So glad my dad knows someone who works there because without them I wouldn't have discovered such a fabulous establishment.
Absolutely terrible! Not only was the quality of the food the worst I’ve ever had, it gave me and my sister terrible food poisoning- from the sushi to be exact. We ordered 4 roles and could not get through more than 2 pieces each before tossing the whole container and it was still enough to make us extremely sick. It was the most sick I’ve ever been in my life (even after having Covid). Avoid this place at all costs. I’m not sure where the positive reviews are coming from at all. Disgusting.
We came in for dinner Saturday evening for Hibachi. The wait was lengthy but it was worth it! There’s plenty of places to go nearby to kill the time. We had a nice hot meal, very Tasty! The hostess, waitress, and teppanyaki chef were all super nice and friendly!
Typically eat here a few times a month… About she is always great, sushi is always fresh and phenomenal. Prices are fair, Staas is usually pretty friendly. Highly recommended
