Their restaurant is ALWAYS clean, the food is amazing. I wish I had a photo to show. I usually get the drunkin noodle chicken. My husband and daughter usually get basil fried rice pork/chicken. Their chicken spring rolls are amazing.

Best Thai food I’ve ever had and I try Thai food all over the country. I drive almost an hour for this food. The chef really knows good flavor and is consistent.

Love this place! Sala Thai has wonderful Pad Thai, dumplings, curry chicken rice, egg rolls

From a Pavilion (Sala) to Home (Bahn)."It'll be at least a 45-minute wait" said the hostess at a nearby steakhouse from the Down Unda."Oh look, the dining room at the Thai restaurant is open now."Knew nothing about Bahn Thai (Formerly Sala Thai), no expectation was set as it has been mostly misses than hit for Thai restaurant exploration. It was cold that evening, two soups kicked off the experience.Tom Jued Woon Sen Gai- clear, savory broth with clear mungbean noodle is certain to thaw your soul.Tom Yam Gai- clear (sometimes reddish) savory and sour broth with a spicy kick and hint of lemongrass/citrus to surely set your senses run wild.Pla Pad Khing- Gingerly overloaded with crispy fried fish bedding under assortment of veggies, covered with deep flavored sauce.Gaeng Panang Nuea- Beefy Curry Creamy Tasty. No other curry dishes at other Thai restaurants so far is this flavorful. The correct cut of beef was used and sliced properly.Bahn Thai (formerly Sala Thai) prepares the most AUTHENTIC Thai dishes in Greater Louisville, so far. The dishes are rich in flavor and character.Superb service.Though the ownership and the name have changed, the same family still runs the show.Skip Pad Thai and Basil Chicken (and no doubt they're delicious here), but try different dish at every visit.Highly Recommended.

Most consistently delicious Thai food I've ever had. The dishes are well prepared, quick, and high quality. Don't want to go anywhere else but here.

My first time trying the food. It was the best. The guy helped and explained everything to me. Helped me order. The was so much food. It was really good. Will be coming back.

Was searching for a Thai restaurant to eat while in the area and ran across this absolute gem! Stopped in for a quick lunch of chicken egg rolls and spicy red curry fried pork. Unique flavors and very authentic! Be careful on the very very hot. Maybe try the medium? Very friendly service and the restaurant was clean. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back!

I like spice... butI had curry here, and I cried... like uncontrollably. It wasn't even a cry because it hurt, I cried because it felt like that evil drop of hot sauce from spongebob just hit my tongue, and my eyes were just trying to hydrate my mouth. The human body is a beautiful thing. That being said, the food was pretty tasty. I'd go here again. I'll never eat anything with a chili pepper icon near it again though... lol

Not the most authentic. Definitely mild in spice. However, flavor is good in it's own right. Want to enjoy Thai food despite being sensitive to spice? Worth a shop.

The service takes a long time just to acknowledge you are there. The flavor of the food is not good at all. I love thai food but for the first time in my life, I don't. The spring rolls where burn also. Never again will I be back.
