No greeting upon arrival. We had a reservation, but the hostess made it seem like it was a bother to find us a seat. A patron was talking loudly on Facetime in the lobby, but no one seemed to care. My wifeâs steak was ordered medium but not pink at all. Dry and poor flavor. Sea bass was horrible. Baked potato was room temperature. I was charged $37 for a glass of wine even though I ordered a $21 glass. I brought the wine price up to the waitress, but she insisted I was wrong⦠For anyone reading, Iâm not a tough customer and Iâve probably never given any other Opentable restaurant less than the full 5 stars. Love Jeff Rubyâs. Love River Houseâ¦. But never again Ruthâs Chris. Iâve had a better meal at Steak n Shakeâ¦â¦
As always, we were pleased with our delicious meal. The service was exceptional!

Food was over cooked. Floors dirty. Need to enforce the dress code. Very disappointed.
The food was terrible as was the service.
A bit disappointing. While most of the food was good (the bread was not even grocery store quality), the overall ambience did not justify the price point. We had to wait in the lobby area to be seated and the hostess was disinterested. Our server was good, but seeing people walk around in basketball jerseys and denim shorts is not what I would expect in a high end restaurant. There is much better value dining in Louisville.
We were there for three hours. Awaiting the entree was an hour and a half. Food came out over cooked. Staff did help by taking an item off the bill. But the staffs helpfulness couldnât make up for the wait time and food quality.
