Something is really off at this location. I have enjoyed royals many times from the Nulu location but here the chicken was dripping in grease (more than usual), the sauces were watered down, the pickles are not the same/seem cheap and gross, the floors were covered in sticky and the food was not freshly prepared.. not to mention there was only one other customer there and that was during a dinner time/730 pm. Maybe it is different owners but Nulu location is always packed- I can see why there's no one here.
Food was delicious! I highly recommend the chicken tacos and Mac and cheese!!! Staff was friendly and restaurant was very clean!
Finally got the opportunity to try Royals…it was delicious.. ordered the tenders (hot) with broccoli bacon salad. The chicken was so moist and tender with delicious flavor and just spicy enough.. the salad was very delicious too hitting all the right taste buds..the staff were friendly…and I will definitely be back…
When this location first opened it was excellent however as time goes by just seems to be going downhill. Chicken is always seems to be cold and spicy wedges always seem to be old. Staffing there is very relaxed and they seem not to care about much at all, including good service or quality food preparation. Do not waste your money on their overpriced milkshakes.
I got to the restaurant at the time the website said to and called to let them know I was here for curbside, my food was not done, but they offered me a drink while I waited and were very apologetic. I did not wait long and when the food arrived it was hot and fresh. I am never disappointed with the service or the food wen I come here and I recommend it often.
Royals is the best Hot Chicken joint in town! Broccoli bacon salad is excellent! If they have the Hot Fish Sandwich available, you have to try it!
We came all the way from Indiana to try it. My brother once got it for me and loved it and wanted to try it again.Unfortunately, I didn’t know that if you don’t add heat it will not have the great taste of the spices! When I came back to Indiana because We took it as a to go order on our way back, we opened our meals and they were normal chicken without the great flavor.I wish the employee explained the difference :( We drove 4 hours and didn’t get what we wanted.. :(Anyways it was a good chicken sandwich but with some heat it’s a different level of tastiness!
My 1st time visting. I absolutely loved it. I was impressed when I walked in and was greeted in a friendly and helpful manner. The woman at the counter gave me some great recommendations for food. I had the chicken tacos which were so delish! I will kick it up a notch in the spicy department. The food came out in a timely manner as well. Will be back again
The spicy potato wedges were great, but my chicken breading was soggy and tasted a bit like used oil. I got no heat on my chicken, my husband got almost as hot as you can get it...and we were both sick to our stomachs that whole night and the entire next day after eating it. Would not recommend. We will not be back.
I used to absolutely love this place this time it took almost 25 minutes for a to go order the sauce wasn’t really mixed up extremely greens and broccoli cheddar bacon salad all you can clearly see what was missing from the salad. No bacon.
