Loved our server!!! Chicken sliders and fries were delicious!!!! Our hostess sat us in the back like we were dirty. The food WAS good.
Tried the Hooters around the corner and were told they had no time for us. Our group of 3 went to try Roosters and had an amazing time. The food was soooooo good. The service was absolutely amazing. And the prices were great! We ever come back to Louisville, we will be stopping in again!
The wings were big and tasty the fried pickles were just ok the bartender was friendly and my glass was never empty
The food is always great. The waitress only asked half our table if we needed anything. We had a party of 8. So 2 tables pushed together didn't see her or hear her at the other end so no drink refills.
Decided to try this as our first stop in Louisville, after seeing good reviews. Unfortunately they must have been having a bad night, as we were pretty disappointed. A couple of the beers on the menu were not available, so had to go with a third choice, which ended up not being very good. The burrito was cold in the middle, as was one of the chicken wings, so 2 of the 3 in our party were not happy with their meal. Server also seemed off, not particularly helpful.
Somehow I dreaded going in Rooster's, what with a recent report of a death in the parking lot. Sadly this has become a way of life all over town, indeed all over America.Putting my reluctance aside, this place surprised me with its late lunch popularity and pleasant publike but larger ambience. My naked wings, hot sauce served on the side for dipping, along with ranch dressing for further embellishment, were large, crispy and tasty with good clean chicken flavor as only mature chicken can be. It's sad to see the tiny, immature chicken parts most places have reduced themselves to serve. If only by default, this makes Rooster's a standout. Ya gotta give em a try!But guess what? The wings were not the only standout discovered on this visit. They serve the best chicken noodle soup in town. The chicken, they call it rooster, is shredded, the noodles are broad and fairly thick, and the broth is slightly thickened with corn starch, giving it that slick, clear, rich, chicken gravy like taste. I will be getting that again for lunch.Service was great as well, with speedy delivery to the table. The crowd was surprisingly large for late lunch on Monday, a mix of young professionals, retireees and the usual hard to define bunch of others who manage to eat late in sight of their bosses.
Great place to grab lunch with your work crew. Wings and apps are good. I also like the grill chicken salad with hot sauce only.
Great food and nice portions. Really big fan of their Korean BBQ sauce on chicken tenders. The wings are really nice size too and well worth getting.
They told us there was a 20 minute wait. 45 minutes later they took us to a table that was open the entire time we had been waiting. The server had an attitude. Not very friendly. The food was amazing. Drinks were delicious, even though it took forever to get them.
Quick service, food was delicious as always, and it’s reasonably priced. Their hottest sauce “Nu-killer” (nuclear) is spicy, but it’s lacking the lasting heat I look for in hot sauces (although this may be too hot for the lay person). Overall a great experience!
