So I live this restaurant. Been going here for years! It hits patches where the cooks start undercooking things like the chips for the nachos and sometimes overcook the chicken & it gets chewy and dry. But today, it was SPOT ON! I'll give it 4 stars for now and after a few more good meals, I'll increase it to 5 if they hold. But yes, I recommend the boneless wings, the grilled tenders....they have good burgers too. Really not too much in the menu that isn't great when the cooks show it love.
Let’s start with the rude, unhelpful team mates at the entrance. This was my first & LAST visit here. They were absolutely no help with the questions I had. No smile just all attitude. Food comes out, there’s more sauce in the bag than in the wings. No condiments. Told you have to order that separately. Could’ve told me that when I was placing order ??♀️ I ask for a manager to express concerns to and she comes out looking timid. No eye contact, looking at ground. You all have a nice day I won’t be back…As for the quality of food, I’ll stick to wing station
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. the only downside is that the floors are always slippery, at least they're clean.
We were in the party room, service was outstanding. Waitress took care of 20 of us with no hiccups in service. Boneless wings and marinated grilled chicken sandwich were great along with wedges and onion feathers. Coke products. Stocked bar. Clean and bright.
Crowded on a Friday night, so slower service than usual. Good salad and chicken tenders (which are huge!). Didn't like their tea. My brothers liked the lightly basted Buffalo boneless wings, but not my thing.
As always, great food! It was cold in the entire restaurant.. waitresses gabbing at front we're same gabbing when we left. The place was busy for a weekday. Good food, fairly quick, however sweat tea was kind of weak. Overall, foods worth it. We'd go again.
I hate leaving bad reviews but our food was terrible. The wings had so much grease in the tray, the mozzarella sticks were cold, the chicken sliders were chewy and the burgers were gross. I ordered sautéed mushrooms and got cold, out of the can mushrooms and soggy bread. We were disappointed to say the least.
Been to a Roosters on the other side of town and it was amazing. So I brought my family to this one. EVERYTHING was disgusting. Mozzarella cheese sticks weren't cooked. The cheese was still hard and cold. The wings had so much grease in the tray I could have started my own deep fry store. I am still in awe from how much grease was in that tray. The burgers were cheap frozen ones. McDonald's is better. This place is trash.
Definitely coming back. The food is nice, but the service was amazing! I had a server by the name of Ashley she was truly a pleasure to have. She was extremely helpful, and sweet!edit: I come often but dont think ill order takeout ever again. Dry chicken with no sauce, leaving out extra sauces they charged me for. Giving absolutely no ranch for large salads and chicken. Its a mess. There is rarely problems with dine in but their takeout is always terrible, sadly.
My mom and I visited Roosters on Dixie Hwy on February 26, 2022. The hostess did not look happy to be there. While there were only 2 families waiting inside we were told it was a 1 hour wait and we could wait on our car if we wanted. The restaurant was busy so we understood. She took my phone number after some difficulty of her getting it correctly. We waited in the car and watched as group after group went inside but didn't come back out. We thought maybe they had been waiting in their cars as well. After 45 minutes we went inside thinking surely our turn was soon. Apparently the hostess just never contacted us and acted as if she had never seen us before and asked how many. I told her that she took my number but we had never been messaged. She just said "Oh I'll seat you" or something like that and seated us immediately. Not a very polite or friendly person to have as a hostess! Our server Ericka made up for the horrible beginning to our dinner. She was extremely friendly, always smiling and took very good care of us. The food came quickly considering how busy they were. We both loved our choices. I'm giving a 4 star rating because of our server and the food. The hostess at the front door cost them a star.
