The menu claims everything is gluten free/paleo friendly except for buns and cookies. They forgot to mention that the Mac n cheese isn’t gluten free either. So basically all of their meat is gluten free and a couple sides are gluten free. That was a little disappointing. Allergies aside, I’ve had better bbq.
I must say I found another local gem in Louisville , KY - River Road BBQ is very delicious and it’s well priced. I will return for sure.
The worst brisket I've ever had. Spent $25 on two sandwiches and it was actually a chuck pot roast that never hit the grill. Don't waste your money here go to Martin's barbecue for the best brisket in town.
We live in Cincinnati and used to attend the Columbus Jazz/Rib Fest annually before the pandemic. Unfortunately the ribs were foul the last time we went. We were in Louisville last summer and drove for miles looking for BBQ till we found this place. We were BLOWN AWAY! It was that D good! We stopped for more before we hit the road for home. It was the absolute best BBQ we’ve ever had bar none! We’re going back for more this summer and takin the family!Darlene & TonyWill see yaw soon!
$25 bucks for lunch for one n they are using buns from Aldi? lol.. the meat is good the buns are LAUGHABLE. bring your own bun n beg for sauce cuz they don't give you any worth mentioning.. they could not find a more dried out n pathetic bun if they hired a team to search one out. seriously.. everyone I know mentions how HORRIBLE the buns are. they eat the meat n toss the bun.WAKE UP... LOUISVILLE HATES YOUR CHEAP BUNS. step up there game for your $25 lunches.
I'm glad they were open..Potato salad was delicious. But the potatoes, like her macaroni, could've stayed in the water until they were not crispy, but.. I'm no longer hungry, so. There's that .Ribs wouldn't be ready for a couple more hours so I settled for half brisket, half pulled pork. The smell inside reminded me of a horse stable, sadly. That stayed in my nose for an hour..Being southern, I don't hate horses, but.. I hope I didn't eat one today.??This "smoker cooked" meat was overly salty, greasy with a strange tasting fat and oddly reminiscent of a crock pot meal lacking a BBQ flavor. Damn, I hope it was horse so that the terrible flavor wasn't their fault. ?
By far the best brisket in town. Intense smoke flavor throughout their meats but that's what I like. Their baked beans are killer too. Always friendly service at the counter.
The food is amazing. You can't go wrong. Plus the sides are amazing too.
Might be the best brisket in town. Love the way they cut across the grain like big chunks of toast beef. Very moist. Quick service. Picnic tables outside, but I could do without the bees while eating.
Delicious! I love being outside so it was great having lunch at a picnic table.
