This is my first time at Quills. I'm hoping the location in Jeffersontown will open soon, since it's just down the street from me. Excellent experience at the Highlands location today. Delicious coffee, friendly service, and better prices than you-know-where. Lots of space with comfortable tables to relax, visit, or work. I love the book exchange shelves, which had a great selection of classic titles--not a Harlequin romance graveyard!

Quills rocks! On the day I went, this awesome blue-haired barista served me a chai latte. I’m not kidding (this is not a paid ad), it’s the best chai latte I’ve ever had. The music was perfect, energetic but not overwhelming, good Saturday afternoon vibes. Amazing experience! 10/10, do recommend.
Really nice cozy set up! I wish there were some dairy free pastries. So no vegan food options other than oatmeal. The coffee was great though! :)
Pros - The place is hopping, good atmosphere, looks like mostly college age and young professionals, coffee taste like coffee :). Lots of electrical outlets, parking is adequate.Cons - No couches, and with only 18 people sitting and working the internet speed according to ookla was between 0.5 and 1.8 mbps, far too slow. Also no blender meaning no shakes or fraps.

There’s plenty of seating and lots of room at the Quills on Baxter. There are a few tables out front and a few more alongside the building. The staff have always been friendly and responsive. Maybe skip the pastries ;-) (just because things around her tend to go soft after a while) but besides that the place is stellar!
