I visited Potbelly Sandwiches on my recent visit to Louisville. The restaurant was busy, but they kept up with the traffic. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was clean. The sandwiches are excellent. The ingredients are good quality and the seasonings were very taste. If you want a good sandwich I recommend Potbelly Sandwich Shop.
Visiting Louisville, walking around downtown and decided to try here. The staff were friendly and helpful to 6 old guys from across the pond who were getting confused with the menu. The sandwiches were great, made to order so you could watch and choose your fillings. Much better than Subway. Good value, really enjoyed our visit.
First time eating here not too bad sandwich is really good I like the the poor steak sandwich with blue cheese and horseradish it was really good I like the taste. A little bit more pricey than I thought it would be but it was good sandwich got it with a drink and about $11
First time ever. Tried the loaded potatoes soup and the small sub called the wreck. It was awesome and full filling! The staff was friendly and helpful in helping me on my first visit
Great place to grab lunch. If you go around noon, do yourself a favor and order from their app. Faster than waiting in line
Even thought their currently short staffed the food is always great. their customer service is excellent and its always clean. With a great atmosphere i've definitely found my new favorite place on 4th street
If you only knew. The lettuce for the salads is rarely put in new containers, making it wilt. The vegetables are refilled, but the pans are not flipped, allowing them to be filled with knuckle water. Plus people are so sloppy that hardboiled egg bits get mixed into the tomatoes or grapes while blue cheese bits get in cucumbers and all ingredients just get mixed together. I used to work here and I got something to eat recently (got a peak behind the line, and it hasn't changed. It's gross. Better off going to Brian's deli on the other side of Fourth Street Live. If you have allergies to tomatoes, they'll leave the tomatoes off, but it doesn't;t mean something else in you salad or sandwich hasn't;t come n contact with it. A lot of cross-contamination.In response to the owner:I worked there when John and Marcus owned it. I don't know if Tom still runs it as GM but I was there for 2 years and I know somebody who just left about a year ago but I won't mention their name. I came back in to eat hoping things have improved. It's nothing personal I just think you all should be a little less sloppy.
This place is great the service is fast as well polite and the dinning in area is very clean even if its packed full if you have the time for a great eating experience as well as service i recommend eating at this sandwich shop they will have you coming back again and again with a smile your face.
This is a great place to eat the employees are great with the service they provide as well quick too I due recommend eating there when you can you will not be disappointed.
The food was really good and quick!! The reason place is getting 3 stars is because I told the guy who puts the meat on the sandwiches that I couldn’t have pork due to religious reasons, and he laughed… the next guy came over and asked him about it, and I don’t really think either of them took it seriously. Made me feel really bad.I saw gloves being changed though, so that made me feel more comfortable.
