Great atmosphere great food
They won't let you pick up your order in drive thru. This is totally inconvenient for someone who is disabled. My mom had major foot surgery a couple months ago and has a hard time walking. I have severe back problems which I'm having surgery for soon. I guess if you are disabled in any way, you're screwed. Other locations let you pick up in drive thru. What's stupid is if I was to go to drive thru, and place an order for the same drinks, I could then. How is it any different? Same drinks. Just make them when I get there. It was a Pepsi and Lemonade, not a special one.
Finally after COVID we're getting out. We went to Panera for lunch today and we were so disappointed to see what has happened to it. They've reduced the breads they make to a small selection. No more rye, no more multigrain, no more wheat. They were out of bagels. The turkey on my turkey sandwich was the round processed kind you find in the prepackaged refrigerated section in the grocery store where you find bologna. The chicken in the "grilled" chicken sandwich was breaded and did not taste grilled. Sad.
This store has slowly went downhill over the years. Doesn't have a very good selection, less sandwiches than they used to. Seating needs a good deep cleaning, multiple tables were dirty and staff didn't seem to motivated to clean. Also, the drink area was gross...look in the drains...stuff growing/floating. I'm not a stickler, but come on...Panera used to be a top place to go. It looks tired now. Food was good. Just needs management to get in and motivate!!! This was also at 730ish, so they weren't slammed. They were out of a certain chicken for 2 of the sandwiches too.
Manager Matt went above and beyond to help make-up for a previous poor experience (at a different location), much better! Always so nice to see someone handle a customer service issue with such ease and care. We will happily return for future orders to this location. ??????
Fresh and delicious every time I go! Every now and then, like today, the accuracy in filling my order is off, but they're always nice and graciously make it right, so I always return!
I ordered a frontega chicken sandwich with extra onion and spinach. I got home with half a sandwich half of the chicken, minimal onions and no spinach. Plus it was cold. Nasty sandwich. Plus they were not even busy.
Order in advance for 4. The food was good and well served. But the order took about 20 minutes longer that it said on the app. Other than that eveything was well.
Gripe of the day.Went to Panera at Springhurst ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup and bag of chips. Sat in line for a while. Got to the window and my total was $7.09, handed the kid a 20.00 and was told that they could only accept exact change in cash because they were short on change. What a crock. Someone isn’t doing their job very well a company the size of Panera should be competent enough to have enough cash within the store to handle cash transactions or go to the bank to get more cash. At the very least let everyone know when ordering that you don’t have enough cash on hand to make change.
Agree with the comments about this location being filthy.Adding food concern, as you can see bread is in the bag in the dirty floor next to restrooms.
