Yes I recommend Ollie’s always. The staff is great and the food fresh and hot.
I’ve enjoyed an Ollie burger with cheese and extra sauce & a small fry since I was a wee little youngen! Just thinking about this place makes me hungry. We rarely get the pleasure to eat an Ollie Burger, so when we do make it to Louisville and we are close by, we stop and load up on Ollie Burgers to eat then and later!! I’ve tried to talk the owner into selling me a franchise, but she just won’t do it!! NOM NOM NOM, Get in my Belly!!
A local staple! This is a no nonsense kinda place; small, big enough for two customers to walk in and cash only. Know what you want and try not to hold up the line. The food is entirely worth it. They have very classic, perfectly cooked burgers and a secret sauce that cant be beat. Make sure you try their fries! The seasoning is phenomenal, and you will keep coming back for more. I have been coming to this place sense i was a child and i still don't think i have ever had a better burger. You wont find another place like this in Louisville.
Amazing flavor and prepared perfectly. I've been to all three still-existing Ollie's Trolleys (one in Cincinnati and one in D.C.), and this is the best one. Don't skip this. Be sure to ask for extra seasoning on the fries and extra sauce. Also, cash only, so be prepared for that.
service was quick. Food was good. Only thing to make it better would be outdoor seating.
Ollie's Trolley brings back childhood memories for me I use too love their fries with spices. However, as an adult I miss those glory days.. I ordered the fries the other day & they were not good. In fact it made me think to myself I should've gone to Five Guys. I won't be going back. Cue the Barbara Streisand, song Memories
Was recommended by a tour guide. After tour went to check it out for myself. For a small burger place with lines coming and going, it was worth every bite. Just remember to get the Ollie burger and ask for extra seasoning on the fries, enjoy!
I hasn't been here since I was a child in the 70s. The burgers are still good, the fries are still awesome. They were surpringly busy on a rather cold Friday, considering you line up outdoors.
The science center said this was a must to eat at when in town, and we were so glad we listened. The line was really long on a weekday at lunch, but once you make it inside the “trolley” (masks required, bring one), the women are beyond friendly and accommodating and do not rush you placing your order. They were so patient with my children and asked each of them their specific requests (and actually followed them to a T, which is almost never happens). As others have said, cash only, but the prices are cheap and you could eat well with a small amount of cash. While we didn’t eat the Ollie burger, both cheeseburgers were freaking fantastic 10/10. I saw my tiny toddler devour it to the last crumb and asks for it weekly now. The toppings are so fresh and really bring it to the next level. Meat quality was fantastic. My other child said the hotdog was beyond amazing and also wants to drive back to eat here. I ordered a set of fries with their signature homemade seasoning and one plain, both were great. We will be making the drive back. Highly recommend!!
Love the food and the service. On this order they forgot my fries and I was disappointed, because I asked if they had my fries in the bag and they said yes. Love the fries and I will be back.
