$32 for an amazing tour and tasting (around 1.5 hrs). The staff were all wonderful. I learned so much and have a new appreciation for whiskey. The marshmallow caramel sea salt dark chocolate they serve with the tasting is to die for.
Really fun tour that was entertaining and educational - easily one of our favorites on the bourbon trail. The building is gorgeous and so well done, what a neat piece of history right downtown. Highly recommend!
We toured so many different distilleries in the area- this was by far our best experience. James, our tour guide took time to make this an incredibly fun, interesting and personal experience! The bourbon, the place, and the people -WOW!!! You cannot ask for more!!!
What is not to love about visiting the Old Forester Distillery? Not only my favorite bourbon but the favorite bourbon of Kentucky. It's gift shop and welcome center does not disappoint. The only glitch I had was that the prices on the bottles here were more expensive than the liquor store down the street. I suppose that is because I visited the week of the Kentucky Derby so I would imagine all of the prices were inflated then.
We visited for my birthday & we loved it! It's a cool experience. We had a great tour guide who took us through the history of Old Forester as well as the process of making bourbon. It was not only educational but interesting. The building itself is just beautiful. Definitely recommend doing a tour!
Went with a group for a birthday bourbon tasting and was not disappointed! Learned a lot, loved seeing all of the barrels and the tasting itself was wonderful! Definitely recommend going!
Great historical distillery! Just a super experience even if you can’t take the tour due to lack of reservations. A must see!
Great distillery tour and tasting experience! Our guide was super knowledgeable and created one of the best tasting experiences for those newer to bourbon. Highly recommend if you are interested in bourbon and in town!
Guide was very informative. Was able to see barreling and bottling, which you don't see everywhere. The whiskeys they have is for the tasting was pretty good too.
Didn't take a tour or tasting as they were booked up for the day. Staff was super helpful in helping pick a couple of their favorites though
