Teo is a awesome. Food was really good. We had 35 people come at once and they did their best. Authentic food.

Mi Casita on 4th was across the street from our hotel. We ended up eating dinner here two nights in a row because it was so delicious. The prices were very reasonable. The food and service were just so good. Our family loves Mexican food and this is one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve found on our travels. I highly recommend!

Nice menu, nice staff, very good food. Eating in Louisville downtown in the 4th Street Live area is kind of lame. Food options are limited to overpriced chains & eateries and less than impressive sandwich shops. Having sampled quite a bit of the mediocre offerings on 4th St while staying for 10 days on business, Mi Casita was a pleasant surprise. The food, staff and servers were all great. I enjoyed my margarita and quesadilla very much. Our server Brenno was friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s a nice change of pace for this area of Louisville.

Was by myself at a hotel nearby and looked at trip advisor for restaurant options. Found this one, where the reviews weren’t too bad and prices were reasonable. It is exactly that…food not bad, plentiful, and reasonable. Definitely had better and worse. Would probably eat here again on another stay.

I typically do not leave reviews, but I was shocked at how the owner handled the situation. Went here for dinner before a concert. Asked the server about the prices on margaritas. She told me the 32 oz was 13.99, I asked if they could make it spicy and she said yes, they could add jalapenos, so I said yes. I then ordered a steak fajita quesadilla. Food took forever (place wasn't even half full) to come out, and when it did, my order was wrong, they brought me a chicken quesadilla. I waited 5-10 minutes for the server to come over and then decide to eat it anyways since we did not have time to wait for them to remake it. Server finally came to the table (after we were all finished eating) and I informed her the food was incorrect, which she did not seem to care at all, just responded with a "hmm okay". She then brought our checks, and charged me 24.99 for my margarita- $11 more than she told me it was. I then spoke with the owner, who was immediately rude and argumentative. "jalapeno margarita cost more", to which I responded with $11 for some slices of jalapeno??!!? Apparently its a fresh made mix with better tequila, which is fine if she would have told me the correct price, which is why i was upset, as I wouldn't have ordered it at that price. All the owner would say was "what, so I'm supposed to lose money because you don't want to pay". I also informed him my food was wrong on top of it, and I was willing to pay for it anyways, as well as 13.99 for a margarita, but not 24.99. He ended up not charging me the extra $11, but it was a fight. Needless to say, I wont return. Server didn't come back after we got our food and owner was very rude. They need better communication and accountability.

The food at Mi Casita is delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

They have an extensive menu and good variety, but the place seemed, dark, old and drab. Good drinks and specials and perfect location near Fourth Street Live Staff was friendly but it took awhile to get our food ( A bit unusual for a Mexican restaurant

While this is my first experience with this restaurant. I 100% enjoyed my experience. My family and I decided to Google the nearest Mexican restaurants and this one appeared. I ordered the Pollo Tropical and oh my! It’s so delicious! The flavorful combination of pineapple, mushrooms, chicken, & cheese was so delicious. This is definitely a top restaurant that I’ll come to whenever I visit.

The staff is very friendly and if you're not too sure as to what you would like to eat, they make excellent recommendations. I had their Cazuela de mariscos. The seafood stew. It's prepared with a special tomato and tomatillo salsa and spices. The aroma is very pleasing and the smell of the seafood is not overpowering. It has shrimp, crab meat, oysters, fish, squid and scallops. They serve it with rice and beans on the side with two big pieces of sweet plantains. A small side salad and fresh tortillas. The stew was very flavorful and they give you big pieces of shrimp, crab meat and fish. The black beans and the rice were excellent and the small salad was decent but it was tasty. With shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions and sour cream. I recommend that you ask for fresh limes to add lime juice to your stew and if you want a little kick, ask for habanero hot sauce. Of course while you're waiting on your order they bring you complimentary chips and two kinds of salsa. I asked for water with ice because I wanted to enjoy all the flavors as it was my first time trying this dish. It was more food than what I expected, and for $16.95 you can't beat a fresh cooked meal this delicious. Already sent pictures to my coworkers since they always ask me for recommendations. Try it out. you won't be disappointed.

They lie about prices. The waitress didn't tell us when my cousins and I got the menus that prices were different prices from what it says on the menu. She waited to tell us at the end when it was time for the check. Then only gone give me half of the extra 7.00 they charged me. I will not be going back there.
