Needed reservations last minute and got in Quick, food was a little over cooked on both entrees. Which surprised us both! Normally food is cooked perfectly. The meat & cheese board was very good! Atmosphere was great! Overall great experience.
As usual, the service and food were excellent. I love the Brussels Sprouts Gratin Appetizer and the Beet Salad is the best salad. Asked for and was seated in a booth. Thank you for another nice dinner!

For a starter, we had the calamari which was one of the best prepared calamari we've had in a long time. Nice crispy outer layer, and the calamari itself was perfect. For the main course, my wife had the ribeye (which came with haricort vert and Yukon "smashed" potatoes), and I had the Pad Thai (tofu being the operative protein). The ribeye, prepared medium rare as we specified was wonderful. The Pad Thai was very good -- it would have been helped with a little more crunch from some crushed nuts or something similar. Total came to about $80/person, including type -- which constitutes a good value for us.

I always enjoy everything and have a great dining experience at Mesh. However, my recent dining experience lacked the usual excellent service I have always received. The waiter missed the mark on my side order of Sweet Potato Fries (âSPFâ) that I had ordered when instead he delivered regular potato fries. When I eventually garnered his attention and mentioned I received regular fries instead of the SPF I had ordered. He responded, somewhat curtly stating that I had ordered regular fries not SPF and in a argumentative manner as if he wanted to debate the issue with me. The manager happened to stop by a few minutes later asking how everything was and i said the waiter had missed on my order and he immediately left and brought an order of SPF. Later the waiter stopped and noticed the manager had remedied the situation and for the rest of our time seemed to abandon his service to us. I am confident this was a one time misstep and I will most certainly go to Mesh again as a devoted patron and would highly recommend Mesh to everyone for all its great attributes of service, food quality and atmosphere.
