Great customer service and good food
Great atmosphere, very friendly people.
Amazing food and waitstaff was great!
The food was tasty (especially the bacon appetizer), even if the music was a little too loud (and not to my taste) and the service could have been better.
This place was close to the Galt House, so we decided to try it for dinner. I had the candied bourbon maple bacon which was sweet but tough and the Lip smackin' mac and cheese, which was OK but nothing outstanding. My two buddies thought the mac and cheese were the best thing, so it could be that I am not a big mac and cheese guy. One of my buddies had fried chicken and the other had a burger, both stated that they were good but expensive. We also could not scan the menu from the bar code and the waitress could not get it to work either, so we really did not have a good chance to view a menu. It may seem a little old school but couldn't they have printed menus for those of us who are technically slow. Anyway, still would like to try the Dunked Cuban sandwich sometime, but guess I will have to be better with my phone next time.
I had a good time and will return. Good band. Food was just okay. My drink was good. No complaints. Bartender ladies and staff were cool too.
This was such a fun spot for dinner. It has an outside patio area just off Main Street in Louisville. It has an extensive drink menu - REALLY extensive…For dinner I had three tacos. All really good but the Al pastor pork taco was incredible! The Manny-Rita is just the right amount of tart and sweet. Highly recommend it (fresh ingredients only!) And all this for $15. Super yummy and affordable!
I, along with my party totaling 6 really wanted to eat dinner here on Thursday, May 12 as we had just gotten into town late that afternoon. I got to the restaurant around 7:00 pm and was told that there would be a wait of approximately an hour and a half. I said that was fine. They took my name and number and said they would notify me when our table was ready. Well, here it is Monday, May 16 and I am back home in Michigan, however I am still waiting for a call or test to let me know my table is ready. Apparently they didn't care enough to seat us. We went across the street to Doc Crow's and while they said there would be a wait we were seated within 10 minutes. Plus Doc Crow's has the greatest selection of bourbon in the western hemisphere. Merle's loss was our, and Doc Crow's, gain!
Worst fried chicken I ever had. Could not have been any drier. Mashed potatoes were good. My husband had the $14 Cuban that was 90% bread. Compared with another customer and same - hardly any meat. You are warned. Frozen pizza in the microwave at the hotel would have been better.
Service, food, booze
