The store is clean, the staff is so friendly & professional. No wonder they're always packed. If you're in the neighborhood, stop in & try the blackberry lemonade. This store has very helpful staff.Our order had a mistake & we didn't realize it until after the restaurant closed. They were very helpful & put us in touch with the GM, who looked up the receipt & made it right for us. He really went the extra mile.
Service was way too slow for 3 pm. Lunch rush was over and hardly a crowd, but I had to wait nearly 12 minutes for a choose 2 veggie spud with sandwich. Was starting my 3rd glass of sweet tea when they finally handed me my food to go.
I used to come to this location every time. I believe they have newer staff. Young kids that don't want to be there. Really takes away the experience.
McAllister's deli is a fine deli and the atmosphere is one of decadence and suavé fare. Stop in for a quick delicious work lunch or call ahead to save a bit of time, or order online and skip the line. No matter how you do, it's a good meal and a great deal. 5 stars doesn't leave out marks for cleanliness, cheerfulness, and perhaps, a bit of bliss. Waist not much time, and it won't be, on this.

I thought I would try this salad, it looked so good in the advert. So, I ordered 13 minutes before I got off, I got there and had to wait an additional 10, no problem, I realized there was steak and applewood bacon on the salad. I got home and got ready to eat, opened the plate and there where 4 very thin strips of steak on the salad, a sprinkle of tomatoes, a tad bit more Gorgonzola, a few rings of red onion and what looked like a sprinkle of spring onion, NO bacon but tons of salad mix. I don't like to complain because I have been a restaurant manager but wow. I really didn't feel like going home to cook but had to cook bacon.

Nice staff and the food is very fresh, the menu has a good verity of things on it.Prices have gone up. This cost 37$ for 2 people, and I'm not sure the tips on cc goto the staff or manager as I didn't see a tip jar for cash?
