Great atmosphere with view over the track, sevice was very good as well. However, the food was below average for a high-end steakhouse, and way overpriced for the quality. However, the bourbon selection was very impressive. Best collection of rare bourbons I've ever seen.
We entertained family in from out of town. All of the staff was committed to making our time a memorable experience. There wasnât one thing that made it outstanding, it was the collection of everything. It was an evening we will always remember
Excellent food and service.
Our experience at Matt Winnâs exceeded expectations. Food, service, and ambiance combined for a wonderful meal. We had the pony board as a starter - highly recommended (plenty to share). Our steaks and sides were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The staff was attentive without interrupting. We really enjoyed dining overlooking Churchill Downs.
Great food and service
Fabulous service. Every detail attended to. It was expensive but no more than any steak house. I highly recommend for everyday or a special occasion.

From the time we were seated the service was excellent. Our chilled water was filled immediately upon eating. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Mike was our waiter and he was awesome. He explained the menu specifically and detailed. We got the Steak Freitas , Mac n cheese, and a wedge salad. The food was great. The bread with homemade strawberry butter compound was really good. For desert we got a dream sickle cheese cake, it was amazing. The cost was about average for a nice steakhouse. This was our first time dining here and we will definitely go back and request Mike to be our waiter.
Our first visit to Matt Winnâs wonât be the last! Impressed from the beginning with the personal greeting and golf cart ride from the parking lot to the elevator. Beautiful restaurant, elegant yet welcoming ambience, and excellent service from Michael. Food was fantastic and wine list was amazing - hard to choose with so many options! Definitely will return.
