Had the fried chicken sandwich with the honey spicy sauce. Oh, it was delicious! French fries cooked to perfection, too. Coleslaw tasted fresh. Will go back if ever in the Louisville area again. The service was spectacular. The server was attentive and helpful in explaining how food was prepared.
My Husband and our boys are here on vacation from Missouri. We tried this place out bc it was listed for Louisville Burger week and we like trying new places. This place did not disappoint! The food was fabulous but above that we had the best service we have had in a very long time. Our waiter went above and beyond with kindness and we could not have appreciated that more. Would definitely recommend.
Terrible food, terrible service. Over the years have been to Marks for KY style BBQ. It was always ok great scepter our last visit. At that time we thought they were having a bad day so decided to try it again after a couple month hiatus. This time was even worse. The brisket gave a cardboard box a run, completely not edible and had to go back in exchange for pork. On the pork the parts that weren’t fat were equally dried out like leftovers. The ribs wer just as bad, dried out like leftover from the day before. The potato salad was all eggs and mayo with a tiny piece of potato. Server was indifferent and seemed annoyed ti wait on us. Had to beg for a water refill. Sorry but won’t be able to ever go back.
Fun interior, enthusiastic waitstaff, and bbq that’s spot on. Love the onion sticks and the red sauce, I could’ve chugged it. Tasty pies? That’s a plus!
I got the burger well cooked and tasted amazing. Really good service. I would recommend going to Mark's Feed Store when you are near on of the many locations. Thanks to their staff for the great service.
I think I ordered the wrong thing here, or it simply wasn't my style. From all the reviews, I was expecting more. I ordered the chicken strips with the deep fried corn and the beans. The beans were actually very good. The corn was different and wasn't particularly tasty. The chicken strips were actually not very good at all. They were very dry and the flavor was a bit bland. I went with 2 other people, and they really enjoyed their meals, so I really do think this leads than exquisite-dining experience was on me. Service was excellent. Friendly, punctual, knowledgeable and just wonderfully pleasant. Parking is a bit of an adventure as the lot is small, bit people in the area seem friendly and it all sorts itself out. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I order differently? For sure. Until my next visit to the area.
Absolutely delicious! Service was fast and friendly. Our meals came very quickly and were so tasty. Highly recommend the corn bread appetizer.
Vacationing from NW Ohio. Ribs(me)/pulled pork(my wife), coleslaw, cornbread and buttermilk pie were flipping great. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.
Ribs were dry over cooked French fries were cold. Picked up order within 15 minutes of ordering so food was already prepared when i called. Will not return. Plus prices were marked up from what was shown online.
Dry pulled pork, brisket and chicken tenders. Side were okay and service was good. FEELING LET DOWN! Great location and decor just overly dry proteins!
