I’ve eaten food here several times now, getting takeout or delivery. It’s generous amounts of tasty food for reasonable prices, and it’s ready quickly. My favorites are the beef and chicken combo kebabs, and the falafel. The baklava is fairly tasty, too.
This is some of the most delicious Mediterranean food I've had in a while! I can't wait to go back! The Beef Shwarma, Chick Shwarma, Hummus was DELICIOUS!! The Falafel was the best I've had!! Everything was so delicious!
I love their chicken shawarma plate. It’s filling but doesn’t sit heavy. The staff are always so kind. The rice tastes amazing and is always cooked perfectly. The chicken has wonderful seasoning. And I love the salad. No complaints from me! I really like that I can place an order over the phone and pick it up typically in under 10 minutes.
It was delicious! I've been wanting to try them since they opened and finally did tonight. Plenty of food, you can eat off of it a few times. I had the chicken And beef combination and a piece of baklava, which was made perfect! I can't wait to go back and try the Shawarma!
When you decide to get good shawarma in Louisville, Maria should be a top contender. Their sandwich is not only very reasonably priced, but it's massive as well. Both the chicken and the beef shawarma are good, although I personally prefer their chicken. They also have surprisingly really good fries, extremely crispy. Would highly recommend if you're nearby.
I hate to do this, but I will no longer do business with Maira or any other active place of business in the Cardinal Corner until their contract with Dave's Towing is terminated. Customers (who might also happen to be students) should be able to place a to-go order and go to class for an hour without having to return and find their car missing. Yes, I was gone for 1 freaking hour and this happened... In a shopping center where half the businesses have been abandoned now for 2 years. Get rid of Dave or I'll never return, and you can be sure this review will remain 1 star...
Not only the cheapest meal in rhe neighborhood, it's also the best. I've been here hundreds of times since they opened and never been disappointed. I love you Maira.
The food is AMAZING! Easy to park, tons of room and space in the restaurant so it feels safe. The owner is really nice. He has a dry seeming personality so sometimes hard to tell but he is super sweet and always remembers us. Good price, great portions and always tastes good. Worth a drive out. HANDS DOWN this is what you want to eat today.
Delicious shawarma. Falafels are cooked perfectly. This place has a great location on 4th by the campus. My only criticism would be the fries need some seasoning.
Quick & very tasty. Add more sauce next. Will return.
