This place used to be our favorite Chinese buffet in town. But after COVID and it reopened, there is less variety and the quality has gone down quite a bit. Good doesn't taste as fresh as it used to and lots of it taste bland, which is sad because this place used to be great for buffets. The service however was and continues to be great.
We went for lunch, at about 3:30 on Memorial Day with friends who go regularly. My husband and I both had the buffet. Buffet area was clean; food was hot, plentiful, and fresh. The waitress was attentive. For 2 people we spent $30. The only downside was the room they sat us in (we were a party of 6) was a bit too warm. Overall, it was a positive experience, and we'll probably go again.
Amazing food, good mix of choices. From sushi to pizza and everything in between. Wonderful deserts, and an awesome friendly staff.
I have been going there maybe every other Sunday for three months. Today, I went in and the manager told the waitress to seat me in the back because I use a walker. I had been there at least 10 times before and was seated in this section close to the buffet every time before today. When I asked to be seated in my usual section, the manager & waitress started yelling back & forth and then the manager runs over there. I showed her that the walker collapsed, which she knew & they gave me the section I wanted. Just strange. I felt it was more my cerebral palsy than the walker (& yes, I feed myself fine! Better than some without disabilities!) Very hurtful, embarrassing and plain wierd. If I'm not welcomed, I'm happy to go elsewhere.
Food is great if your looking for a large selection. I really enjoy the new additions of the chicken on the stick and honey chicken. The buffet provides something for everyone including the picky eaters with pizza, chicken wings, rolls, and other various kid menu items.Price is fair for the lunch buffet.cleanliness of the bathroom and ice cream area are the only items I would say need improvement.
I saw their grade on door that was an "A". Excited about that. Had been years since we had been here. We walked in and they had been remodeled,so u walk into a line of people waiting to be seated or to pay. Food options were okay, but not as we had remembered. There is an icecream freezer, in which u serve yourself by spooning out icecream from containers. Not sure how they got the"A". Bathroom was not tidy or fresh looking. Hand dryer is plugged in by sink. A waitress checked us out and asked for tip and my husband said he left it on the table and she said "Only 3 dollars?" And my husband said "No, 15$" so definitely didn't like the way it ended. Price for our family of 5( 3 adult prices and 2 kids) 80+dollars. We vote not worth it.
Enjoyed this restaurant many times but they really dropped the ball this last visit. Broccoli chicken was cold, eggrolls had a strange chemical taste and spring rolls were just plain mush inside, no flavor. No diet mt dew. And, the cookies we like so much were not to be seen. The lights flickered on and off, have no idea what that was about. This place could be in decline, don't know for sure what happened this trip but we may look around and try another place next time
This was a great place when the previous owners had it, now I wouldn't feed the food to my dog. They charged me 12.00 per pound for take out buffet when it's 5.99 -7.99 every where else. Low grade dog food at premium prices typical.
To start off we waited 20 minutes at the hibachi grill while I was passed by multiple associates no one greeted me or anything. The food was burnt and nasty. Only good part was the Pepsi’s and ice cream $40 for 2 adults is ridiculous! Save your money go to Kroger get the P.F. Chang’s from freezer I promise it will be 500% better than this food. Server kept acting like we were going to dine and dash. We have a small child that’s not happening there’s no dashing anywhere with a small child!!
This use to be one of the best Chinese restaurants around, but I've been in there twice in the past year and it is horrible now. Went once before the remodel and again after, hoping it would be better. WRONG There wasn't much of a selection first off. Secondly, the fried dumplings were hard and cold from sitting so long. The pepper steak looked like anything but pepper steak, chopped up and kind of burnt. The general tso's chicken is the worst I've ever had. The hard boiled eggs were half cooked and the rice had no flavor. I will never go back. It's also pricey. Very disappointing.
