$32.49 that all ended up in the trash. Terribly disappointed. .While traveling we stopped at Jason's Deli #760 at 4600 Shelbyville Rd Louisville KY before stopping at our hotel for the evening. Ordered Club salad with salmon also with egg and avocado, broccoli cheese soup, garden veg soup and a new York Yankee sandwich. The salmon was so dry it was inedible as was all of the meat and cheese on the sandwich. The salad was missing egg and avocado.. The soup obviously had been sitting all day and was as thick as sludge. Complete waste of time and LOTS of money.
A real solid deli, all the ingredients were definitely fresh, high quality, and assembled with care. The croissant on my Club Royale was surprisingly flaky, and seemed freshly baked. The staff were very courteous and helpful. My only gripe would be that the floors near the checkout counter were pretty sticky, my flip-flop was pulled off my foot at one point. It's not a big deal to me, but it was a bit odd since the rest of the place seemed so clean. This was my first time at a Jason's Deli, so the free soft serve ice cream was a nice, surprising treat for my wife and I. Overall a good experience, I would recommend it to any sandwich lovers and I will return for lunch again in the future.
Since COVID I haven't been to Jason's Deli until now. Unless things change I will likely go else where. This franchise location is hit hard like everyone else. But "Shrinkflation" is noticeable here. I was looking forward to building a great salad. A good chunk of the things I remember being there are gone. chopped grilled chicken, ham, various meat toppings. They even removed the puddings.If you are going for the salad bar, save your money & go to Shoney's for better value.
I went to Jason's Deli on May 31, 2022 around 12:20 pm. While at the salad bar making my salad, I noticed a female employee wiping around the salad bar with a rag. I witnessed the employee picking up food with the rag and putting in back in a container on the salad bar. I told her that was nasty & unsanitary and she rolled her eyes. Will never go back.
Me and my partner always come here && typically we enjoy it. Today, we went in and ordered two California Clubs and everything was fine. I was in the process of taking another bite when a caterpillar falls out of my sandwich. I thought it was guacamole for a second until it started moving. I begin to freak out and my partner takes my plate and gives it to the front register. They are in shock just as well as me. I felt so horrible afterwards because i genuinely love this place, but this has made me lose my appetite
Great menu selections, plenty of parking, friendly staff, reasonable prices, easy access and location.
Great! Fresh, quality sandwiches with excellent soups! The extensive menu has something for eveyone. Plus unlimited drink refills and free soft-serve ice cream! Yes!
The Chicken Caesar Salad is...bad. Caesar dressing is sour and slightly bitter. Greens are not fresh and are stale. Chicken is rubbery and mostly fat - had to spit out most of it. Portion size is big but not enjoyable whatsoever. Did not sit well in the belly
Good place for a casual lunch. Good sandwiches, soups and a salad bar. Opted for a sandwich and a soup both perfectly ok, it hit the spot. The place lacks atmosphere and for being a deli it is huge. I had to order by the counter and very quickly my order was served to my table.
