Gave Two Stars for the service and Eggs Rolls. But the food itself was horrible my daughter and I ordered two different meals and they both had the same sauce and everything had a metal taste to it like it came out of a old can. Not worth what I paid for it
First time was there earlier today, the host sat us down and the waiter took our order right away. After about 30 mins wait, no drinks for us and the kid but other tables came after us already got drinks and food. We tried to wave and called the waiter for drinks but he just ignored. I totally understand that it is a busy weekend and short staffed, but 30 mins with no water for the kid is unacceptable and other tables came in after us already got their food. So we just got up and walk out.
This is a local gem that has been around a long time. Excellent service and food. I highly recommend the orange beef. I get mine a little spicy, but it is not spicy by default.
Maybe keep to the posted hours you have. The host told me the buffet was “closed” 45 minutes before close and I could clearly see there was food on it. One, don’t lie to me when I can see it. Two, maybe post on your hours that the buffet closes well before actual close. I won’t be back, even though this is the closest to me.
Great food here. There is always something new to try. The Singaporean Noodles is a new favorite. The food has great flavor and always fresh. The staff is authentic and friendly. Try something new each visit.
Spent over $100 for grubhub to bring my food the delivery was the best part. Food is tasteless. My son said all he could taste was straight grease with his curry chicken. Very unhappy. Will not order again.
This is a very average Chinese restaurant. Covid has taken a toll but they are working hard to over come staffing and supply issues. Carry out has suffered as items are left out of orders so always check before leaving the restaurant. They have lots of new staff that need a lot more training. The basic noodle dishes are good and dim sum.
The personnel of Jade Palace, apparently, are sufficient ... so that this excellent restaurant can again, offer a steam-table of many items, for a certain function. Fortunately, also, most or all of the old menu is available ... either for dining-in, or for take-out. I asked for (take-out) the Cantonese Peking Duck, in a half-size portion. EXCELLENT, again, in how the duck was chopped-into the usual, manageable portions, even in a "to-go" container, as the latter was FILLED, proportionately! Thus, the Jade Palace should, again, gain it's place as one of the BEST of the numerous, fine Chinese restaurants/cuisine in this area.
Food was delicious and service was great went at about 11:30 it was not too busy...12-12:30 was busier the only things I could say negative would be that the food was hotter and there was music of some sort to drown out the sounds of cutlery on plates. Had buffet btw
I was so excited to get some Chinese because it has been awhile. I went with Jade Palace for the first time that in Louisville Kentucky. the potstickers were soft and had no crisp to them but had good flavor. The egg drop soup was good. The Black Pepper Chicken meal that I got for $17 was supposed to be the chicken rice and an eggroll did not receive my eggroll and black pepper chicken meal was completely rotten/spoiled NOT edible! It made me sick to my stomach after trying one piece each of the corn, broccoli and one piece of chicken just to see if it was me. I will never eat there again that was the worst experience when it comes to Chinese food. Money wasted on a meal I had to throw out. After tasting the spoiled chicken I didn’t even attempt to try the rice so I just threw that out too ???
