We were coming through Louisville late last night close to closing time and stopped in at Impellizzeri’s in old Brownsboro to grab a bite to eat. They had nearly shut everything down and cleaned up the entire restaurant and still were kind and generous enough to offer me and my family a pizza. We appreciate the kindness and welcoming. The food was awesome also! Thank you!!
Placed an order for carry out, came in to have a drink while I waited and watched the bartender on his phone back to me for about 4 or 5 minutes not say a word to me. Was never offered a drink or even water while I waited. Meatballs were great, wings were good but the toppings on the 16” pizza were barely there. Maybe 8 little pieces of pineapple, just one or two on a few of the slices. Wouldn’t drop $50 on this again.
The service was excellent and it was pretty busy. The drinks were also nicely made. Salad too. The meatballs were pretty good too. We ordered a couple of pizzas and I do not understand how they were barely warm when we got them. Both Luke warm. They probably would've been excellent if they were hot. No need to even complain at the end of the night and all that. We had ordered them well done, so putting them back in the oven would've burnt them. We took them back and reheated them the next day and burnt them lol. We'd still try the place again if we returned.
Just get the pizza…I’m pregnant and was craving fettuccine Alfredo SO bad, I ordered that, as well as a Caesar salad, The Deluxe pizza, a cheese pizza, and the cheese sticks.Lettuce in the salad was semi wilted & orange, the dressing tasted “off” and no cheese like you’d usually have in a Caesar salad, I didn’t like it all & ended up just throwing it away. The Alfredo was simply tasteless, which was really disappointing since that’s all I really wanted… Had to go home and heavily season it to be edible. Was NOT like the picture baked and crispy golden brown. That being said, the pizzas and cheese sticks I got for my family were really good.Heard lots of good things about the place and wish I would’ve enjoyed everything especially for the prices, stick with the pizza and you should be good.
This is a town favorite with crowds for dinner and celebratory occasions. One can choose their pizza from several types of crust as well as toppings. Our pizza was excellent!! They say it takes a little longer to make, but it arrived quicker than expected. We will return!
I always stop at the downtown location when I visit Louisville, but it closed. This location is actually just as good, and less hectic. As always the pizza is great! My two pet (service animal) rabbits also enjoyed visiting. A top rating of two rabbit ears up!! (\ (\ ( -.-) o_(“)(“)
My favorite place for pizza. Best pizza ever!
Best pizza I've ever had!I live in Salt Lake City and get to Louisville about 3 or 4 times a year and always make it a point to stop and get a deluxe pizza!
A friend and I came here because I wanted to try it out based on what I've heard other people say about it. It fully lives up to the hype. This is the best pizza I've ever personally had. We split a Sampler pizza, and it was fantastic. Perfect amount of toppings, nice gooey cheese, and the sausage doesn't overpower the other flavors like that at most pizza places. Will definitely be back.
I showed up today at around 12:30 was instantly greeted when I walked in by Tyler he seemed to be in a good mood and seemed very happy to be working. He was very polite and professional and quick and he was also serving the bar, tending half of the tables while the only other server was tending the other half and despite constantly being busy and doing something the whole hour I was there he kept a smile on his face and was very polite the hole time. Tyler was an excellent server and needs a raise
