I've heard so much about this place and finally tried it..And..I Absolutely positively unequivocally without a doubt Love Love Love I Love Tacos ❤My Kiddo also!I had the vegetable burrito Mexican rice black beans with queso on top! My first time dining yesterday afternoon. Nice atmosphere. Busy inside & outside. Staff was friendly. The options for margaritas were limited to strawberry mango. I tried it & it was much stronger than expected LOL. I ordered steak, chicken & brisket tacos. All were good. The queso was decent, would've been better if it came out hot (temperature).. My fiancé ordered a burrito & it was better than the tacos but didn't come out hot (temperature) either. Still enjoyed & will give it another try. Next time I'll specify that I want my food fresh/ hot!
Although the tables were too close to each other, for my taste/preference, the staff and food was great! Melanie was quick in delivering our tacos, and she did it with a smile. The vegetarian tacos tasted amazing, especially with the plantain on top. Mmm! During this pandemic, I will probably order food to-go, but I would definitely go back for their tacos and corn on cob appetizer!
So it is taco week and my husband and I decided to check out I Love Tacos first. First time being here and I have to say the food is awesome! But the customer service was blah!! We did tip good even though we weren't happy with the service. Maybe the service is better when there's not an event going on. Will test that theory out after taco week is over.
I have been wanting to eat here and finally got the chance when I went out to dinner with some friends. It was amazing! I loved the appetizers. They had the best frozen drinks as well. I have been to a lot of restaurants lately and usually my experience is just so so, but this was excellent!! I will definitely be back.
I have became a regular I'm in love with their taco salad and their drinks nice scenery calm music you enjoy yourself Everytime you go and everything is fresh that's what I love about it.wish they can have more space and better tables nothing's wrong with theirs but they can become crowded quickly but the food is very well worth it
Really great place with a beautiful, cool interior. Friendly staff. Fast service and the food is really really good. And for context, I actually hate Mexican food. Tacos especially. But this place made me reconsider. Easy parking too. Which is like gold for Bardstown road.
Not only great tacos! Had the carne asada torta and it was great.
The birria tacos here are the best I've had anywhere since they started to get popular and ive tried them at just about every place in town that serves them. Definitely give them a shot if that's your thing. The cauliflower tacos are also awesome for a vegetarian option. I haven't had anything here that was bad but Ive found it hard not to order one of those two items nearly every time I go here.
The labor shortage has got all the restaurants scrambling but our server, Aldo, was working so hard making drinks, serving food, lighting the outside heaters and fire pits - wow. What a tremendous team player. Our food and drinks were amazing and we will definitely return to this gem of a spot in the heart of the Highlands on Bardstown Road! Loved the margaritas, burrito and tacos. Thanks for a super fun night!
