Most of the dueling piano performers are very talented. We snagged a table so it was comfortable and good people watching. The energy is high, expect to be dancing and yelling "what?" to whoever you're there with.

We loved the place even tho it wasn’t buzzing but the atmosphere was still great and the drinks and band super good.

We had a wonderful time at the Louisville Howl at the Moon! Staff were very friendly and seemed to work together. There were a lot of laughs that we will remember for years to come. Thanks Howl at the Moon for an unforgettable weekend with you!! :)

Not a review but a question. I’m coming from Cincinnati and taking a trip to Louisville this weekend and would like to stop by here. My only concern is that I recently turned 21 and just got my ID flipped and was given a temporary paper license until my new one comes in the mail. Will this be an acceptable form of ID? Just don’t want to make the long trip if I’m going to get turned down.

great place to go out. went there for a birthday party, we had way too much fun. staff was amazing. we will be going there again soon!

The dualing pianos were great as well as the bartenders, however the bouncers were aggressive and just straight up rude. Doing your job is one thing, however going after people deliberately when they are not even close to being out of line is bad.

Whoa boy...we had such a fun night at Howl the Moon! The musicians were so much fun and incredibly talented! The drinks were super yummy and the service was great! We might move to Louisville just so we can hang out here more!

Great drink selections and friendly staff. The musicians the night we were there were incredibly talented. All rotated between pianos, guitars, drums, vocals, and more. Incredible entertainment.

It’s a pretty fun experience if you want both karaoke and live music vibes. Drinks are reasonably priced, about $6 for a 16oz beer. My only problem was the cover. $20 per person?? I know we were there on a Saturday night, but basically we felt like we had to stay there because the cover was so damn high. It really ruins the atmosphere of 4th Street Live when every individual bar charges a cover, and I think that’s why it’s not really popular anymore.

Fun place. Good music. Reasonable drink prices
