Food is great and staff is friendly. The prices are well worth the amount of food you get!!!
We were seated quickly considering that there was a line when we got there and there was a Sunday after church crowd. Staff was friendly and the food was good! I had chicken fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, and potato salad. Son had burger and fries. And hubby had a breakfast meal. We were all satisfied with everything a gobbled it all down. :-)
We go there every chance we get ,Never had a bad meal , Ladys who work there sre some of the nicest people.Very Welcoming place ..Highly recommend..
Good food. Party of 6 and they would not seat us until all there. That is their policy. Felt like since we were not regulars maybe that was why not so friendly. Service was ok. Chicken livers really good. Good collards greens, too. Most had breakfast and everyone seemed pretty happy.
In from out of town, my cousin suggested the Hillview. Good coffee, service, and food. Good menu selection. Well.., you may have to wait in line, during some of the breakfast surges.This is definitely a gathering place for the locals. Driving by, the restaurant is pretty innocuous. Only because of the large banner raised on Thursdays announcing, Fish Fry Friday, you might know something pretty good is going on there. Only had breakfast a couple times, next time with try some of their later meals.
This place has it going on for good old-fashioned country style cooking! One of my favorite go-to's is the liver and onions. The cakes are moist, soft, and delicious, especially when paired with ice cream; you can't go wrong with any combination... If you can't decide, try their homemade pineapple upside-down cake or german chocolate with Burbon Truffle ice cream; your taste buds will thank you. Plus, the service is fast and friendly with a smile. Keep up the great work, everyone!
This is a review all from my kid's experiences they've had here. My dad takes them here a lot during the summer months. It's their spot for ice-cream after they play at the park. They always come home, talking about how it's delicious and that everybody was so nice to them. My kids love the Hillview Family Diner
I've stopped here multiple times now and I've never been disappointed. Their food is amazing and they have absolutely excellence service. This place is full every time I go there yet I'm still greeted with a friendly smile. Their burgers are amazing and they have delicious desserts as well. Great place to eat!
My son and I stopped in here for a late brunch. The food was delicious and everyone there was very kind even though it was close to closing time. Pancakes were the best I have ever had!
Hillview Family Dinner is a homely clean and reasonable price family. My husband radio club every Tues morning the food is delicious please give them a try they are worth the wait.
