Shame on Heine Brothers for the abrupt closing of the Douglass Loop store. It was an insult to loyal customers -like me- and to their hardworking staff. I’m sure $$ was at the root of the hasty move. Seems like HB is becoming “corporate” vs our town’s homegrown coffee chain. I’ll be taking my business to a small, local shop that has better values.
If you like mediocre coffee and shady business, this is the place! Trash company.
The coffee tastes burnt and sour. No outlets for me to be able to do my computer work. Very uncomfortable chairs and old couches with uncomfortable tears in the leather. 0/10.
Came thru and got one of the best iced miels with oat milk I’ve ever had. Wish I knew who made it so I could give them a hug. ✊?
Went to this location expecting to get a smoothie from The Weekly Juicery but was disappointed to find that they are no longer here. My wife and I decided to get heine brothers since we drove all of this way. We ordered a banana chaiburg and two of the breakfast wraps. The wraps were delicious as always. The chaiburg was completely wrong. It’s seems like it was barely blended, with chunks of banana and ice in every sip. It doesn’t taste like they put any of the chai in it, and there was no whipped cream on top. As you can see by the separation in the photo, aside from the chunks, the rest of the drink is liquid. Definitely won’t be coming back to this location.
I love their coffee. I recently tried a midnight coffee with hints of vanilla and it was sooooo good. I like dark chocolate over milk chocolate anyway so the dark chocolate in that coffee made it taste perfect. Didn't even need any creamer.Pair that with their cinnamon rolls warmed ?
The best Heine Brothers in Louisville. Great and friendly staff. A wonderful manager. I drive out of my way every day just to buy my coffee there! Thanks for all of the great service the last two years.
Pretty good heine brothers location overall. I like when they put the little sticker on the cup, but mine didn't have one today. ? Drinks from this location seem differently made at times as well as far as milk or syrups go.
