Tried a new place for lunch this week. I had Fried Chicken and Mac & Cheese. First off, place was clean getting served through cafeteria style line was pretty quick. The fried chicken was crusted I though fairly well and looked like it would be tasty. However, I found that it had a pretty plain taste with no real noticeable seasoning, so flavor would be just average. I am a big Mac & Cheese fan and the product served appeared to have a cheddar crust to it. Upon taste the product was really bland and had no flavor. I did not care for that and actually did not finish the small serving size bowl.So for me I really didn't care for the product I had.Someone else in my party also had chicken and they felt the same that it basically was a flavorless piece of chicken and was average. Another tried the spaghetti and they said they felt it was pretty good for them.I am undecided if I will try again because for the money which I also thought was a little high I expect a better tasting product.
Those women on that restaurant are so nice. They great you. They say goodbye. No attitudes. No bad behavior. Just so polite. They wait patiently while you're placing your order. They have an enormous menu. Meals are always hot and fresh. I can't say enough great things about that restaurant and its employees. I live in Frankfort and drive all the way there for a delicious meal. Really, it's the customer service that keeps me coming back. Well worth the gas money and mileage on my car. Thank you all for being so kind.
I Had high expectations of some great home-cooked soul food. Instead I was so disappointed to have non seasoned pork chops smothered in what tasted like brown gravy from a can. The potatoes tasted fake as if from a box. The soda, no carbonation and the strawberryshortcake nasty. Very unhappy with the food. And to think we stood in a line outside in the cold for this terrible experience. Not again!
They tricked me!!!! I just knew I was going to have one of the best soul food meals ever. From the people I talked to and the line that was outside, my hopes were so high. This was truly one of the most terrible experiences my tastebuds have had the misfortune to survive through. People continue to pile in like addicts in the Carter from New Jack City. I can’t understand why. The gravy completely ruined the pork chops. It tasted burnt. The broccoli and cheese had little to no flavor but had plenty of water. The mac and cheese was probably the highlight but Indie’s Mac and cheese is better. The soft drinks were extra soft because there was plenty of sweet and no carbonation. I also tried a piece of strawberry cake, that too was a mistake! Tasted as if I ate the Saran Wrap by itself. The experience is one I wish I didn’t get. Now I’m going to eat some Easter eggs somewhere to get rid of the taste.
Food was overpriced and the portions were small very disappointing. The Salisbury steak tasted as if it came from a box TV dinner.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. The ladies behind the counter are always friendly, the dining room is always clean and it’s spacious and decorated very nice, and hands down some of the best food on the planet. It’s located right across from our business so it’s so convenient. We absolutely love Franco’s!
Excellent food, with the great taste of southern flavoring and just plain delicious! We enjoyed the Jax Salmon dinner, and it was cooked and prepared to perfection! The Franco hospitality team was very kind and professional and made us feel right at home! These home cooked meals are prepared with "love" and you can taste it in every bite! I highly recommend this 5-STAR restaurant and please be sure leave them a well-deserved tip!
Oh my GAWD is all that I can say. Everything was amazing!!!! I'm from Ohio and we have nothing that can compare to this. The chicken is moist and the breading is so crunchy. The sweet potatoes are the best I have ever had.

This was my first time ever eating there, because i just relocated and the food was excellent and they gave you a lot of food for the money. The place was very clean and the serve was fast. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone.
