We had brunch today and it was phenomenal! I got the Monte Cristo which was the smoked turkey on French toast with bacon jam and cheese... ?delicious! My wife had the breakfast burrito that I had to help eat because it was huge. It's covered in their delicious beer cheese, and to say the least, it was amazing.
Good fried chicken sandwich, green great, mac and cheese not the best but definitely edible.
Had the brisket sandwich with slaw ($15) - could have chosen fries instead (they looked delicious). The sandwich was pretty perfect. Lotta meat, just the right amount of sauce (for me) and the bun was great too. Topped it with the coleslaw, and went at it. Pretty amazing. A buddy of mine has the fried pickles appetizer (which he shared) and it too was very good. A group of us were there late-to-closing (past actually), so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Our waitress was attentive and spot on (even though suffering from a major sinus attack). I will definitely be back.
The menu with limited to a few items for Fatherâs Day. I did not know this when making the reservation. I had a blackened catfish salad. The catfish was incredibly salty. To salty to eat. My husband wanted ribs but the only menu item was fried barbecue ribs. They came with a salad relish. No other side was offered and no substitutions could be made. Incredibly disappointing.
We visited two times over the course of a weekend - friday night was 4 hours at a 5-star. Saturday evening was barely a four star visit. So I'm rounding up. Ara was our waitress on Friday evening and was freaking amazing! Our waitress on Saturday seemed distracted and only came by a couple times - drinks sat empty quite a while and it was no busier than it was the day before with fewer waitresses. They don't have a ton of tables inside, but there are a couple on the sidewalk and a patio of sorts behind the building. So, hopefully the weather is nice enough that you can find a place. They don't serve most national brands of beer, just so you know. My ultra-picky brother and my mom tend to be homebodies when it comes to beer but did try a few. So, don't be afraid of venturing out. Same kind of goes for the bourbon / whiskey choices. Lots of local or regional options, but not a lot of national ones (no captain morgan, for example). Now for the food: fried pickle appetizer is made of bread n butter pickles. They were fine, but I would have preferred a heads-up since I don't normally like that flavor of pickle. Not real salty, though. Smoked wings are AMAZING! So good, so yummy, so tasty. Next up, the smoked bologna sandwich. By itself, a really good sandwich. I'd love it and come back for me. My problem? My brother ordered the pork belly sandwich on grilled cheese. Holy freaking cow! That thing was incredible! Ruined my perfectly yummy smoked bologna sandwich though. The fries you are offered by default are not typical fries - think larger chunks of fries, like home fries (but with a nice seasoning blend on them). Beer mac n cheese is not bad. It's got a good flavor and is super gooey, but I wasn't blown away. They were out of lots of stuff when we visited on Saturday so I didn't get to try the Cuban - I'm sure it's great. :)Bonus - there was live music inside on Friday evening. It's nothing spectacular, but it was a nice touch.
Four Pegs has some of the best BBQ in town, but my go to would have to be the fried pickles. Friendly staff, delicious food, and a great beer selection!
Good food takes some time to make, ok? You might wait a bit longer here for it, but the thing is, they're doing things with food here that other places just aren't. They want to give you something you haven't had, whether it's a completely different kind of dish or an awesome new spin on something you've had somewhere else. The food here is some of the best that I've had anywhere in the US, frankly, and the owners and staff are all great people as well, so please be nice to them.
Came at 12 for lunch and was blown away! I got there burger option and it was delicious! Was even a double and I thought It was supposed to be a single. My boss got the brisket and every bit of it was delicious! If your thinking about trying this place, to your stomach a favor and GO! 6 OUT OF 5 STARS. STAFF is really friendly too!

We went to their monthly drag brunch and had a fantastic time. The team was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to accommodate my Open Table reservation request (Ifkyk). Food is fantastic with large portions so that we had plenty of at home left overs. It was a memorable afternoon because the show, the other guests, and the establishment were operating at peak performance levels. I’m happy this is in the neighborhood near my Germantown home and I’ll be back for that fried chicken sandwich!
