I highly recommend checking this place out if you are a BBQ fan. The food here was amazing. We loved the flavor of the bbq sauce. The fried pickles were very excellent as well. We will definitely go back when we are in the area again. The restaurant has a cute atmosphere and the food was very delicious.
I'm from Austin Texas, just to get this started off right...lol..I was in Louisville on business and decided to eat here based on the reviews...well...I own and operate my own BBQ establishment so first of all the taste was just mediocre. The pulled pork was dry not any smoke flavor..they brought me out some supposed to be smoked chicken..I have no idea what this was. It seems like they boil it or something because it didn't taste like any smoked chicken I have ever eaten, or resembles anything that comes off a BBQ pit. The brisket was cut in hunks not in regular traditional brisket slices, lots of big grain black pepper with some fat...the collard greens need something because whatever they are cooking it in the pot liquor makes the greens taste bitter..the baked beans were ok...the banana pudding didn't have enough vanilla wafers and the ice cream whip cream topping didn't make it any better..spent $33 on lunch not too thrilled..sat here 20 minutes and never smelled smoke...i hear the wings are good but doubt i would try them....but maybe yall like this kind of BBQ in Louisville...??
Was good ! Very fast service.
We were able to get street parking only a few steps away. On entry, the menu wall is to the left & they mark items that are sold out. Make your selections, order & pay at the counter (I still prefer this to ordering/paying at the table), self-serve beverages & table delivery of your order. We each knew what we wanted before arrival & we added the raved about pork cakes, which I wanted to love... sadly, we may be the only people who aren't crazy about them. We both thought they were salty and just too rich for us - even with the slaw to cut through the richness. My pulled pork was delish, even without sauce- I dare say I actually preferred it naked.. soooo good - well seasoned, not at all dry, and huge serving - took half home. My 2 sides were mac-n-cheese (decent - very creamy) & potato salad (a solid hit)I tried my husband's food too. Brisket was moist, tender & well flavored. Baked beans were decent & greens were very tangy. The straight meats were certainly their strength on our visit. (Pulled pork & brisket)There was a chunk of plastic in my husband's baked beans (odd, but it's not like it did any damage) &, again, the pork cakes just didn't work for either of us, personally.
So excited to have a tofu option so that our whole family could share a BBQ experience...PLUS it was great BBQ! The potato salad was fresh and tasty, and the drinks were well made. Definitely would return.
Excellent BBQ, environment and service. The food was melt in your mouth good. Very clean and friendly staff. An absolute recommend if you are in the area!
This was our first stop on the way down to Alabama. I have to say that the service was fast and the food was great. I ordered the chopped chicken and my brother ordered the brisket. Both didn’t disappoint. I would recommend this as a stop for anyone heading near Louisville.
Maybe a bit overrated, but it’s hard to know from just one visit. Based on our impressions of the dishes we had though, we were somewhat underwhelmed. Pulled pork sandwich was really good, Tofu tacos not so much. Confused about whether we should buss our table of leave it for staff.
Delicious BBQ, we even bought a bottle of sauce to take home! We ordered a kids taco (not on the menu but a single flour tortilla with choice of meat and a side, the picky 6 year-old loved it!), chopped chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, and pulled pork platter with tots, baked beans, and Mac n cheese sides. Everything was delicious, highly recommend!
Feast BBQ was absolutely amazing! We were actually walking to another restaurant when we decided just to pop in, and we are so glad we did! My husband got the ranch Taco with Tofu, and I got one ranch Taco with brisket and one BBQ Taco with pork BBQ. Absolutely one of the best meals we had while visiting the city. I LOVE their brisket! It was cooked perfectly to fall apart in small shavings of amazing peppery flavor, but the BBQ Taco tasted so good. We definitely want to come back and would recommend this place to everyone!
