Always a perfect experience!
For the price point, the food was mediocre at best. Why? Starter (ribs) were cold with mediocre flavor at best. If they had any flavor it was drowned out by the brown gravy they poured over the ribs. Mushrooms were doused with a vinegar that made the taste of the mushrooms non existent. The 43.00 Steak Chimichurri was a disappointment, which was boasted to be amazing. Sigh, it hurts me to say that Main Events kitchen makes a better one, I wished I was joking. The only thing that was good at this dinner was the drink, the old fashion wasnât too bad. Service was great except forgetting wifeâs drink and we had to ask and getting a look of puzzlement. The staff were great but at 180.00 for the meal, good lord wished the flavor was there.
This was our first time dining here and we were impressed with everything from start to finish. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. Maggie was doing double duty behind the bar and waiting tables and managed it all flawlessly. The food was delicious! I had the Sunday Gravy and my husband had the Beast of the Day which was thin sliced pork shoulder. Both were prepared perfectly. I loved the smaller menu and felt the kitchen put extra care into the orders. We will definitely be back!
The burrata appetizer was good and creative. Unfortunately all of the mains we tried were poorly executed and not worth the money. Very one note in flavor and texture.
The food was delicious but a tad on the salty side. Our server was FANTASTIC, on it without hovering. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! Would definitely go again
