I've been to this location a few times, it's usually always a pleasant experience and good food. this day that I went, there was a slight issue with the hostess not wanting to sit me and a friend at a certain table, but set two other people there. her reasoning was that wasn't a two-person table. after talking to the manager, he handled and fixed the situation and we continue to have great food and great service from our waitress.
Menus
We go to drakes routinely and have never had anything but a great experience. However, tonight we went to drakes and we ordered wings and a sushi roll. We never received the sushi roll and we were repeatedly told that it is on its way. Once we realized we were not going to receive it we asked the bartender for our check, it seemed that they did not even care that we did not get our food. I understand the place was busy tonight but a little professionalism would have been appreciated.
Pros: Fries Pickles were plentiful and tasty. Service was excellent! Juicy Lucy sliders were good.Cons: After 2 visits to Drakes and 1 to Malones (same parent company) I can confidently say stay away from any Asian inspired dishes. The rice on the California roll tasted old and the texture was off putting. On the Asian Chicken bowl, the rice was better but the chicken was so dry it wasn't edible. It felt like it was leftover from yesterday.
So, I'd always wonder about Drake's, but I went just yesterday, and it was GREAT! Their burgers were perfect, and their toppings were fresh. Their tater tots were divine in their crispiness (?) And I would totally recommend to anyone in that area.
The Fried Fish!! Omg cooked perfect and 4 big pieces too. Sweet potato fries were great.The Seared Chicken with broccoli is my new favorite for a healthy and delicious lunch!Swiss mushroom burger is fantastic!

Reviewed on Trip Advisor and got a response to click on a link so they could reach out to me. Can't click on link and when I copy and paste it takes me to survey company website. Their response is of no use and their attempt to resolve things with me as a customer doesn't seem authentic. This is probably a system generated response restaurants can elect to use for an additional fee. But it isn't a customer service tool.
Great stop on a drive through town. Super busy on a pre-holiday weekend but smartly staffed so seating, service and food delivery were all right on time. Good ambiance and a friendly staff. We were surprised by sushi on the menu but more so surprised at the quality and preparation! Thanks for a great road trip lunch.

Husband loves(d) the Fish and Chips. A couple of days after my surgery he said order one as a carry out, I'll pick up, and we'll split (we live very close). It was a total waste of time and money. It wasn't that it could go that bad, that quick, as a carry out. He said he thinks they've changed the type, quality. of the fish. It was laughable how much catsup and tarter sauce they included. I'd rather have had their money spent on a good piece of fish. Off our list of places to patronize. We're so tired of paying outrageous prices for poor quality food. I can cook again now and we're sooooo thankful.
