This was everything l could ask for in a meal. My server was good. Busy and maybe a little stretched but she was attentive, knowledgeable and great personality. The entertainment was a nice soulful keyboardist. And the food.... like it was my momma in the back. The pork chops, the mac and cheese, collards, corn pudding, sweet potato casserole. ALL HELLA GOOD. If l had any criticism it would be no manager presence or table touches and maybe plate presentation but believe me this place is AMAZING, Great southrn cooking and l cant wait to return for my birthday.
Food was good but place was Lunt busy and I still had to wait on service , I can tell they forgot I was there because multiple people who came in behind me and sat in my section were served before me. I got the Mac cheese, greens and Parmesan crusted chicken. The chicken was cooked good but honestly had more cheese and crust than chicken (made it greasy) and had to remove some to enjoy the dish. I’ve had other dishes here before and most of the time it’s delicious but a tad pricey for options . Worth a visit for if you haven’t been
On my last day in Louisville, I asked a local foodie friend “What’s the one restaurant I’ll regret not having tried if I don’t eat it tonight?” and without hesitation he said “Dasha Barbour’s”. And he was right. From the hot brown to the fried ribs to the phenomenal sides, everything was on point. Their desserts looked amazing but we were too full to even finish our plates.\\n\\nLet me talk specifically about the fried ribs for a minute. I ordered them because I’d never heard it such a thing before and was curious. We got them tossed in the sweet and spicy sauce recommended by our waitress. When I took the first bite, the corners of my mouth involuntarily started to curl up into a smile. But it happened with every bit after that, too. They were amazing.\\n\\nI will note that they moved in April 2022, so the old menu pictures posted on here aren’t accurate on selection or pricing. It’s still incredibly reasonable and actually has more options than in the pictures, but just know those menu images from 2017 aren’t up to date by a stretch.
I ate here with my family, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious!! I has the fried ribs, sweet potato casserole, and (amazing) sweet corn bread. The portions were big, and I wanted more of everything!!
I had the pecan salad and it was AMAZING. It was a good portion for the price. Also had the fried green tomatoes which were awesome..

A relaxed evening with good food just like moms would make. Good cocktail and fried catfish. The corn pudding and greens were excellent.
JACKIE, CUE AND MEISHA were super hospitable. Food was excellent! Very nice ambiance. Even the owners Aaron and Dosha so happened to be sitting next to us and he was very humble and personable. The staff was professional from the entrance on! Their attire/uniforms were impeccable. I highly recommend. I also suggest to do a call in reservation prior to coming. You will not be disappointed! ❤
