Their food is so good. Meatloaf, chicken, catfish, Mac and cheese, green beans, dressing and so much more. You must go try them for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Make sure to grab a bottle of their homemade tea and lemonade
So, I devoured the food before taking a pic but don't let that stop you from checking it out. Comfort food staples of chicken and dumpling, fried fish, etc. Our family had fried chicken, Buffalo chicken, and fried catfish all made fresh to order. The buffalo made my teen break a sweat but in that yum good way. Best chicken we've had since moving to Lville and fabulous customer service. During our brief wait for main dishes they generously offered to refill our fav sides of mac n cheese and green beans. Everything was awesome all the way down to the fluffy sweet cornbread. This will be a regular stop for us.
Ayyee! The food was fire! Came from 2 hours away to explore Louisville and discovered Daddy Vic's deliciousness. The mac n cheese was divine, so cheesy and tasty. And, the bathroom was immaculate and that does make a difference. Also, friendly service which goes a long way. Will be spreading the word for other folks visiting Louisville.

I gave one star because the guys that were serving the food were all very kind however, the food was not good at all and the serving portions are very small! They literally gave me a fork size portion of food for my sides! I had cabbage, baked chicken and macaroni and cheese. I didn’t think that you can go wrong with that meal, but boy oh boy was I wrong! They are way over priced and I will never go again!
Oxtails were a sad excuse for oxtails... Idky they even sale that sad piece of meat, fried chicken was ok I can get better at Popeyes, Mac n cheese was made with sliced cheese I'm convinced. Cornbread was the only thing worth eating! Will not be back
Got some of roast, chicken, Mac, greens, sweet potatoes and both desserts. Lemonade to drink. Everything was great!! Can't tell you how good it was, Just that you should give them a try. People here are very nice and helpful. Potions are heafty. I have plenty of leftovers for a second round later. Price is also good! Eat local Louisville and support this awesome black owned business.
I ordered two fried chicken dinners. The fried chicken is decent. However one plate had four fresh wings. The other plate had 3 fresh wings and a old drum stick that was barely hot. The Mac and cheese was decent. The cabbage was horrible and I love cabbage I don’t know if it was reheated but unfortunately it was not too good. The corn bread is delicious. If anything would make me come back it would be the corn bread
macaroni cheese and sweet potatoes very good not overcooked just right. and the staff were very polite, the line was long but you get out of there fast. thanks for your service daddy Vic soul food....
Nice family own buffet, Quick service yummy fried chicken and friendly employees, if you are in this area and likes southern food and your time is limited this is what you need. Don't forget to try their cornbread. They have plenty of parking spot and good amount of indoor tables.
