Ordered for the family and chose delivery. Door dash delivered. I didn't choose door dash I just checked delivery on Cracker Barrel's website. After a long wait my wife goes to walk outside to make sure it hadn't been dropped off at the front desk. Our food is sitting in the floor outside our door?????? Sooooo we bring it in and my daughter's steak dinner is missing. I call Cracker Barrel and explain the situation and the managers direct quote is "oh yeah it's been happening a lot lately. It's happened 3 times this week already. Door dash drivers are taking people's meals. Just be happy you got most your order. You'll have to take it up with door dash to get a refund"......?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.? So after being on the phone with both companies for over an hour I'm waiting to see what will happen. If this is true, why are you still using door dash as a delivery method??????????? But anyway. After over an hour of excuses and being put on hold I'm done. You just lost 8 customers for life. Just more pathetic service you get now days.
Had a great dinner there last night. The country steak with gravy, cinnamon apples, fries, and steamed broccoli were all cooked well. Great food and great price. My server was Prince. Great young man, professional, friendly, just all-around great young man. He will be going places in life, with his personality. Highly recommend!
While in Louisville, Cracker Barrel was my place to eat, being that it was within walking distance from the hotel I stayed in. The first visit was dine in/take out and my experience was good. I ordered a strawberry mimosas and bacon n' egg hashbrown casserole, although a small portion , it was delicious! For take out I got a chef salad which was so good. My last take out order (next day) I didn't like my food as much, so my review will be rated just based on my first dine in and take out experience.Lastly my waiter Austin was awesome!! He was kind and attentive, even with having his share of tables! My needs never went unmet. Thanks Austin!!!
We had our lunch here, enjoyed the food and loved the atmosphere. Waitress who took care of us had great customer service. Only one small issue, though: Guy who called us on the mic when our table was ready couldn't enunciate to save his life. We almost missed it.
Umm... um, good! Just about any Cracker Barrel is awesome. The food is great and the people are...people friendly. They are there to please the customer, while trying to keep the food rolling out from the kitchen.Have had the opportunity to visit many of your locations, and, on this trip to Louisville, Kentucky, we even took a trip across the border into nearby Indiana, and came across numerous ones. Seems like, they're doing well-enough to provide a pleasant place for people to enjoy some great home-cooked style of food. Yeah, those pancakes were very good. We're leaving tomorrow for California. And , guess where we're having breakfast? Why, The Cracker Barrel of course! Can hardly wait. Thanks Cracker Barrel. ???
Would give 0 stars if I could as I received no food for an online order of ONLY side items. We arrived and checked in, as requested, and waited in the car for 15 minutes. They still hadn't brought the food out so I went inside to pick it up myself after 30 minutes of waiting. I was told my order had not yet come up and they would check. I told them what spot we were waiting in and returned to the car. An additional 30 minutes and still no food. I went back inside to inquire, yet again, and was told it still had not come up and they would check. I asked if I'd still need to pay for it since it had been over an hour since the order was placed. She went back to the kitchen and was gone for a while then returned and said the "ticket got lost" and they were putting together the order now and it would be ready in 5-7 minutes. Then 5-7 min later, she returned and told us that unfortunately they had run out of items we ordered. So after an hour and a half total since placing our order of only sides, we are leaving empty-handed with no dinner at 10:00 pm and are very unhappy and hungry. Will not be returning or recommending this location to anyone.
Our server was amazing, even though we went when it was super packed. She help us very much my husband ordered their breakfast platter, I had the grilled chicken with bacon and cheese, and our son ordered a grilled cheese with tater rounds. This was our first time going to this specific location. Definitely will go again.
Ugh, the worst breakfast I have ever had and I wish I could say that was hyperbole. What's happened to you Cracker Barrel? Ordered carry out: Wild blueberry pancakes w/bacon, sausage biscuit and a side order of grits. Nothing about it was any good. The pancakes were bland and made palatable only by having the blueberry syrup with it; I never thought bacon could ever be so terrible I wouldn't eat it but thanks CB for providing me with my first instance, my guess is it was a left over batch from yesterday, it was awful; the sausage biscuit was an absolute joke, a tiny little puck of a sausage patty and an undercooked biscuit that cost over 3 dollars! Save yourselves on this, trust me, and get one from McDonald's, I couldn't believe how bad this thing was; and then last but not least the grits, so watery it was like a bowl of dishwater, just awful. Needless to say I did not finish anything but I was able to choke down some of the pancakes. Such a terrible disappointment I couldn't help but have to write this review. Sorry Cracker Barrel!
First off our server Boppa was excellent. The food was good but not great. The kitchen was slow. The restrooms were completely out of toilet paper. And the trash cans overflowing. I never seen a manager or I would have let them know.
Food is always delicious but I don't know if it's just me or is the cook being petty these day's. I ain't have enough on my plate to fill up a 5 year old. Other than that perfect all around the board.
