We were searching for Jamaican and Google directed us here. Disclaimer, it's not , it's Haitian so similar. We had the curried goat and Oxtail with rice and beans. If you know what curried goat is suppose to taste like then you will not like this at all. Was very watery and more seasoned and to be cooked longer. The oxtail was okay , the best thing was the rice and beans and the fried plantains.

This place is absolutely phenomenal !!! The gentleman running the register was very friendly and polite. Didn't take long to get my order to go. The flavors were absolutely perfect. I went with the jerk chicken with rice and beans. The portion size and taste made it well worth the money!!

The food was excellent, delicious very filling. I called and she said the order would be ready in 5 minutes, it was ready in 5 minutes. The young woman at the cashier was Nice and pleasant. I definitely will go back.

Delicious, flavorful, authentic island food. The Haitian chicken is a fan favorite. The proprietors and staff are friendly and have created a laid back cozy atmosphere.

Stopped in on my lunch and got the Jamaican Beef patty’s and they were hot and delicious! Service was quick as well!

The food may be good but the prices have severely gone up. 30 bucks for a fried snapper plate is crazy. The prices are just to much. That right there is gonna hurt their business in the future. There’s other places you can get the same type of food for half the price.

Second time trying this place and both times service wasn’t the best and the food was even worse. Both meals had hair in them this time and we both felt sick afterwards. Place smells like sewer and I wouldn’t recommend.

some of the best food i have ever eaten. if you’re looking for something different to eat in Lou, this is your place. this spot is phenomenal. i always get the jerk chicken, you can either get wings or a thigh & a leg i believe. the chicken literally falls off the bone it is SO GOOD. then the rice is perfectly made, and the plantains are also perfect. i like to mix everything they provide together and it has the perfect kick. food is CONSISTENTLY amazing. You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not go here!

If you love Haitian home cooking there's no better place to find it. A little pricey but well worth it.
