Once again stumbled into a gem of a burger joint. We found ourselves in this part of Louisville running some errands. I don't know how long Burger Boy has been here, but if it's more than several years, why have I not heard about it? The building isnt in the greatest shape but that doesn't keep their empoyees and cook from making a bacon burger that's just about perfect in my book. I like to give constructive criticism when a place needs to hear it. So I strongly recommend to the owner to put at least two slices of that awesome bacon on the burger. It was very disappointing. Ya see, those of us who order the bacon burger, do so because we freaking love bacon! And it even looks pathetic. That's the only negative thing I can say. You still get 5 stars because I think you will do it justice by adding a slice. Plus everything else was amazing. The fries are as good as they look! Perfecto! Ok this place needs Louisvillians support to get the established in top nothch shape and they'll be able to put two slices of bacon on that burger! Oh and the cashier/server was super friendly! Randomly found this place while spending some time in Louisville. Let me tell ya, it did not disappoint. My dad and I had both had the Burger Boy combo. Fries were great and the Burger was DELICIOUS!I would definitely eat it here again.
Passing through town near midnight on Sundays doesn’t leave you many options. Saw they were 24 / 7 with such a big menu was excitingFirst impression: BUSY. There were at least 10 people waiting to order take out, or we’re delivery drivers picking up.Those were the options since there dining room areas were closed off. Not sure if that was a cOvid thing or not. They do have some tables out front that you could sit at if the weather is accommodating. Pet friendly in that way so a plusIf you are coming at peak time be patient. We waited an hour for our food.A number of people waiting had comments that the last few times they came their burgers were raw / pink. Menu says everything cooked to medium, and ours came exactly medium. Buns were buttered and toasted. Tomatoes were fresh.Overall it’s a four. Enjoyed the burger, the fries and shake we got were pedestrian. I also got chili and while I wasn’t a fan, I suspect a lot of people would really like it.The big cons are the wait, and lack of indoor seating at the moment. If you have time go visit
The food here is AMAZING! This was the best burger and fries that I've had in a long time. Their Jalapeno poppers are the best I've EVER had! The staff was cool, and food was made fresh & quick! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
We went in and were great very nicely, it went down hill from there. We were ask to wait and look over the menu, and after about 10-15 minutes we left. Without any service. The lead person was sitting in her car smoking. No one tried to stop us or offer to help nothing. First time there and last time too.
After reading so many positive reviews of this place I was disappointed with my experience. My wife and I stopped in on a Saturday around 1:20pm. We ordered a burger boy combo and a Reuben. There were 3 people in front of us with a single order each. Over the course of the next hour I watched all 3 of these people receive their food and have to take it back for one reason or another. After an hour of waiting we received our food. My burger was pretty good and the fries were interesting with an almost sweet seasoning but my Wifes Reuben totally missed the mark. No thousand island dressing and no cheese and no sauerkraut anywhere to be found. Just some sort of meat and onions. The manager did refund the cost of the sandwich so it wasn't a complete loss. Even though my burger was ok it was an overall letdown
I was turned on to this place by my brother and I love it. With the staff selection and the flavor of the food you can't go wrong. The fries themselves are unmatched. Love the cooks and I highly recommend you try this place.
Very overpriced. Not even worth half of what they are charging. The soggy nasty fries, slow service, fees for takeout, taxing on $0.03 drinks. $2 for $0.05 mushrooms. I would never have come here if it weren't for the clearly fake reviews. They burn the burgers, undercooked the fries, dirty as all heck.
Eaten here 3 times, keep bringing more people, and every experience gets better. Best turkey burger ever. Chocolate chip cookies are delicious. Bur, the way the lemon cake melted on my tongue OMG! Customer Service is always excellent!
I’ve always loved Burger boy but today ruined it for me. My boyfriend ordered us a to-go order, and we went to pick it up. His phone died on the way to get it, and he did not know his email password, so they would not give us our milkshakes because they said milkshakes don’t print on the tickets, so they had no proof that we had ordered the milkshakes. We had the order number. That’s a total of 10 dollars they took from us. They were not nice about it and did not even try to accommodate us. I’m sad to say I’ll never be back.
