That teriyaki sauce on the Hawaiian Burger..with that pineapple.. ? chefs kiss sounds..
First time here and Can put down a lot of food in one sitting, and wow. This burger was a really good size burger that filled me up, the fried egg was cooked perfectly so that it wasn’t too runny, and the bunz sauce has the perfect level of spice to it. Only upset I haven’t been here before and I’ve lived in Louisville my whole life.
If you're looking for a burger in The Highlands, this is the place to go. With prices only a little higher than fast food, there's absolutely no comparison. The quality is excellent, there are a range of topping and fry options, and the portions are more than generous. They've expanded to make the inside significantly more spacious. The decor is unique and walls are covered with works by local artists. There are also several tables on their sidewalk patio if you'd prefer to eat outside. Orders are prepared quick and during COVID we usually take ours to go.
We planned this visit for a few days. Arrived and the door was locked. Chef pulled us inside and said I'm gonna feed you guys. Best. Burger. Ever. Great fries. So many we couldn't finish them. We will be going back. Love this Burger.
Good hole-in-the-wall that caters to a younger crowd. Pretty good food, especially the fries.I recommend their menu burgers as opposed to making your own; their selection is fairly unusual, so the first time I went I got toppings a la carte, but didn't like it so much. The next time I ordered one of their selections and enjoyed a Californian burger with avocado spread and my friends both liked the Bardstown or Baxter (whichever it was) that has a fried egg on it.
The burgers are big and cheap and the fries are good. The burger was probably cooked about medium-well and was super salty. Definitely not the best burger you're going to get, but cheap. I wouldn't recommend this place, but I also wouldn't turn it down if a friend wanted to go there.
Excellent burger and fries! Friendly upbeat staff and food was prepared perfectly. Small neighborhood spot and will definitely become a regular.
Best tasting burgers in Town! Friendly staff. Glad they expanded their dining room
First of all, cool place with good music playing in the background. The burgers were massive. Just a tad bit too salty to my liking and the side sauce tasted way too tangy for me. But I enjoyed the onion rings and fries. Overall fair price for 2 burgers, fries, onion rings, & drink.
