Second time to visit for lunch (2022 Memorial Day) and they were a bit off their game. Several customers in line before us were told that they were out of some item or another and had to substitute. Both our orders had items they were out of but the suggested substitutions were delicious. Manager admitted to not ordering enough for the day. But we still love the bagels and sandwiches.

The product is decent, if you can get it correctly.Multiple times I’ve gotten a bagel only to get home and realize it was missing toppings. Being understaffed and training new staff is one thing, but if training can’t even be done efficiently to where a five ingredient bagel can’t go out the door correctly, it’s probably time to update some practices. Then when you call, you’re very unlikely to get an answer. Ordered two bagels this morning via doordash to save me some time, both bagels were missing tomato. Called five times, no answer.I hope they pull it together, but at this point they don’t even seem to be close

I am a regular at Bruegger's Bagels at this point because it is so good! Bruegger's is just a small bagel shop close the main crossroads in St Matthews. My office consistently gets a morning assortment of bagels for everyone working with some of the siracha honey cream cheese which is unmatched. If and when I go there for lunch I usually get the Better Bacon Cheddar sandwich which is Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on an Asiago Parmesan bagel with a spread of the Light Herb Garlic cream cheese. Now that your mouth is watering, let me tell you the best part: It's super low cost! Most places you go for lunch you're spending $10-$15, but a sandwich here is only $6-$8 which is a steal. All that said, I would highly recommend this place as its definitely a staple in my book.

They ran out of most of the flavors around 12noon but still had a fair share of bagels.

Bagels are good, sriracha honey cream cheese is amazing, sandwich ingredient quality is meh, but honestly I would give this 4-5 stars if the service was better. Employees seem miserable and annoyed to help each time I've entered (3x in a few months.) I'm new to the area and this is close to work and I'd love it to be my morning spot, but a little smile or welcoming or warm voice would help customer experience a lot.

A little on the pricier side but definitely a great breakfast. Especially if you're sick of the traditional 7 items everywhere else serves.

Usually they are pretty good, depends on when you go, if you go later in the day the bagels will be tough. They have been closing at 2 because of staffing I guess, I went in at 1:20 today and the guy acted like he didn’t want to do his job, he told me they were about to close, I asked for my two bagels, he wouldn’t toast my bagels. If you want good service go earlier in the day.

Regularly “forgets” to add extra salmon on their lox sandwich when requested and paid for through DoorDash. Tried to call and save them this review. But they don’t answer the phone and don’t have voicemail.

Clean place, good service. Honestly my only gripe was the food and the parking - I got the “better bacon cheddar” which I always get and it was just ok. Not bad, but not great. Nothing wrong with it officially maybe just a bad build this time but I feel like other Bruegger’s have been much tastier. The parking situation on the other hand is tough- very few spaces for a lot of small Shops and all the surrounding lots have signs literally everywhere saying if you park here you will be towed. YEMV

The products are awesome. But after yesterday, here I am standing in the store first customer at 7 am I order a sandwich. Then proceed to order dozen thats is on the menu and then say I can only have 2 sesame bagels in the dozen. He says I have to save them for future door dash orders. Like make more bagels for your door dash instead of limiting a customer in your store. Furthermore he proceeds to take all the sesame off the shelf so that in store customers can't even have any. Very bad in person service. Definitely need better staff and make more product if you are gonna limit it to door dash.
